GREAT EXPERIENCE IN YUFUIN”
I wish I could had spent more time there. It is located at the just beginning of the Yunotsubo str., so you can readily access almost all stores and Kinrinco Lake. I cannot speak Japanese well, but the receptionist was pretty nice, so I didn't have any uncomfortable situation. It has 2 private Onsens on ground floor, which means you can take a bath anytime(opened for 24h) unless both of them are occupied. Even though it is not a traditional-looking Ryokan, it was enough to feel how peaceful that city is.

Clean, convenient and beyond expectations ”
Dinner and breakfast were fabulously good. Totally worth the price. At night staff would come and help make beds for us. Very comfortable facilities that meet almost all your need. Conveniently located with walking distance to the railway station. I can’t think of one reason not to live here next time!! I’ll give it full score.

Wonderful seaview in rooms”
The wonderful endless seaview inside the rooms really surprised me! It is also great to have free parking next to the hotel. Great service with nice meals. Staff tried hard to assist us even with limited English ability. Fantastic onsen with nice seaview. We will stay here if we visit Beppu again!

Very close to the beach, excellent view from the outdoor onsen. The kaiseki meal is enormous as is breakfast. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel upgraded my room to an ocean view room for no extra charge. The view was almost like being on the water itself.

Cozy”
Nice and cozy hotel for a family get away. Close to sightseeing and shopping. Great food provided though the volume was too much for us. Highly Recommend!

The seaview hot spring is good with the nice meal”
The seaview hot spring is good. The service is nice. Just the room is a bit old and there are many insects and mosquitoes. The pillow is too soft and low.

The room was very large. The hotel service was good and staffs were polite. Surprisingly, English standard of a staff at reception counter was very good. She could speak very fluent, non-Japanese style English. Meal provided was delicious. There were 4 different open hot springs exchanged by gender daily and 3 family hot springs. Hot spring lovers should not be disappointed.

Large room, nice ocean view, yet the room is locked by a metal key. For solo female, think twice about the room securities!

Affordable hotel in Beppu with nice Japanese bath with seaview on rooftop”
Within walking distance from JR station, nice view from room, nice rotenburo, but breakfast can be better if served buffet-style in my opinion.

Good onsen facility and authentic Japanese breakfast”
I paid extra to get seaview room but it turns out that the view was distracted by the construction. Room and toilet were newly refurbished but outside looked dated. Great staying but not quite value for money.

good location, big room, nice dinner and breakfast. The public bath is clean. Big room, good sunlight, clean room. But the bathroom in the room is a bit old, I can't take a shower or bath in my room.

Cute but there may be better options”
The hotel is cute and it is Japanese style, however it's old. There was a huge stain in the tub. The place seemed clean but because of the age I'm not 100% sure how clean it was. The breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast. I love the actual room, minus the bathroom. There was an odd odor in the room, but it could have been from the mats, unsure. There were also a lot of what looked like mosquitos flying around, but they didn't bite me so I'm not certain that they were mosquitos.
