Perfect Stay, Great Location!!”
My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay here at Royal Park Canvas - Ginza 8. The Location is excellent, its a 7 min walk to the Ginza, Hibya metro lines as well as a 9 min walk to the Yamanote JR line. We were there when the Typhoon 19 hit and the stay was very professional and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Facilities are excellent the location is the best. Perhaps the most central spot to be in Tokyo. I was there for 7 nights and plan to stay there again.

New hotel, comfortable & clean! ”
A new hotel started in March 2019, so facilities are pretty new and in good condition. Location is very good, conveniently located beside a family mart and ginza main shopping street, and 5mins walk to mrt. Room is small but well it’s the norm in Tokyo. Fridge and safe located in the toilet. Shampoo / body soap / boiler all provided. WiFi is fast! There’s both cool air and heater mode for air con. Can barely fit 2 28” luggages in the room (once you lay both luggages down flat, not much space left for walking). Overall it’s a very pleasant stay (: do try it while it’s still new!!

Pros: Location is great and centralized with many f&b outlets around. Very near shopping (given it is in Ginza itself). Staff have been really helpful. Clean rooms. Great lounge area. Cons: Some “touch up” needed on room fittings (more lighting, sound proofing improved etc). Could also consider providing dry cleaning services (although there is a laundry room on the 2nd level, some items can’t be done via normal laundry). Overall, great service. Will definitely stay at your hotel should I be visiting Tokyo.

Great location, hotel was located right at the heart of Ginza where shopping is just a couple of minutes away, there is a Family Mart beside the hotel which is super convenient to grab a quick breakfast or snack. The room was clean and the facilities were great and working well. The nearest metro stations are around 6-8 minutes of walk. If your main reason going to Tokyo is to shop, this is definitely one of the best hotels to stay in!

Perfect location in the heart of Ginza, near Shimbashi and Ginza station (about 3 min. walk) with couple of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Room’s clean and cozy, bed’s extremely comfy, love the scent of the shampoo and conditioner(bathroom’s really big and bright). It’s a little bit small but big enough to fully open two 24 suitcases. Perfect place for a short vacation especially if you love hi-end brands’ shopping. Definitely gonna stay here again on my next Tokyo trip. Already recommended to my friends.

Very clean and very comfortable.”
Staff were very friendly and super helpful throughout our stay. We even got a free drink each at the bar. The room was a good size and very clean. Bathroom had a great walk in shower with 2 shower heads, one rainfall and one more powerful. Instead of a curtain there was a sliding wall that blocked out all light, perfect for me.

Free soft drink at lounge, Staff is very kind and helpful. We forgot 3 suitcases at the hotel and realized that once arrived at the airport. One of the front desk staff took a bus with them and bring them to the airport. We gratefully thank all of you for your help and will see you soon.

Perfect location if you plan to be around the Ginza area, clean room and large nice modern bathroom with strong rain shower. Provided nice baby cot with beddings and comforter for our 7 month old, however no baby tub. Free lounge with modern furniture and kitchen/pantry with free sodas. Also has laundry area.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FACILITIES, very nice and comfortable design ”
I was very surprised how much I love this hotel regardless how small the room is. You can’t ask for too much in the heart of the city of Tokyo. Even though the room was small, it has everything u need and the design makes everything so comfortable, which you won’t feel too cramped in such a small room. The shower was awesome! The fluency in English of the staff is going to surprise you! They are all so good in English! The only thing I didn’t like about it was that the housekeeping staff might have been in a rush when cleaning my room, and so my own Pajamas was found being thrown aside rather than folded and presented nicely back to me. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever gonna visit Tokyo again!

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Royal Canvas Ginza 8. The hotel is tastefully decorated (v chic), conveniently located and has very comfortable beds. Service was great and the staff were very helpful. This hotel's rate is rather costly but the location, service and comfort made up for it. Areas for improvement include informing guests that there is a laundry room in the hotel, the need to include extra dryers and baskets in the room and to put up signage for the proper use of the laundry in English eg no sneakers to be put into dryer or washer. A signage on the use of the Balmuda oven toaster microwave would also have been helpful. In spite of all these, we really love the hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Staff were pleasant & efficient. Rooms were small but didn’t feel cramped. Shower & bathroom was terrific. Facility, cleanliness, location were all great. My only challenge was getting directions. Especially for people not familiar with the area to know which exit to follow when getting off the train, identifying landmarks. I have a smart phone but the reception isn’t so great so I depend on hotel & staff information to get around. I’ve been to Japan many times, but always a slightly different place. We only stay for short periods & need to make the most out of our time.

I mistakenly double booked this hotel. I would have appreciated a heads-up from Agoda or the hotel management but ended up having to pay. One staff member was very helpful in finding ways to minimize my payments. The hotel is nice, rooms were comfortable for Tokyo standards. Location is perfect - within the Ginza shopping district. Gym is tiny - and only with cardio machines, which was kind of useless if you are a tourist who will actually be getting a lot of cardio. Rooms are new and clean.

I had some hesitation when I booked this hotel as it looked like it was pretty new and I didnt see a ton of reviews, but I am SO GLAD I booked. This was a really wonderful stay in every way -- the hotel is perfectly located in Ginza, the staff was super helpful, the room was beautiful and comfortable and the whole hotel was sparkling clean. And the price, although not cheap, was quite affordable for what is a very upscale neighborhood in Tokyo. I highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely clean and great service. Was a ten minute walk to the station and lots of small restaraunts and bars made it a convenient place to stay. Bit small but it still felt sufficient.

Nice quiet place and neighborhood. Rooms have a bed couch which could bring the accommodation up to 3, but I wouldn’t recommend it as the space is small. Grab the breakfast deal as restaurants nearby open late, but if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk to Tsukiji Market go for it as they have great Japanese food choices.
