Very close to Tokyo Tower- I managed to get a room on the side face it and had a brilliant view the entire time. It was amazing at night especially. Very clean and quiet. Staff were very polite, helpful and spoke excellent english. There were plenty of train stations around, although some required 10 minutes or more of walking. The closest was an 8 minute walk near the tower- very manageable (the one you use depends on where you want to go). Otherwise heavily recommend!

It's our second time in Tokyo Grand Hotel and we still love the experience! We requested to book our previous room that is 1410 but it was unavailable during our stay. What they did was to book us in the adjacent room, which has a closer view of Tokyo Tower! Superb customer service--one welcome drink and discount vouchers on their on-site restaurants. For our next trip to Tokyo, we're still staying here! Best location, customer service, and room cleanliness!

Pleasant 3 night stays”
Hotel is a bit antique, the lobby and room are clean and quite spacious, they provide sleepwear and icebucket inside the room, also ice cubes on several floors. what i like the most is the view to tokyo tower from the big room window, so make sure you specify your request to get the view. The location is pretty far from JR Station but close to subway. one thing to take into account, Minato is a business - government area so there are not many tourist destination nearby.

Affordable hotel which is surprisingly very close to Tokyo Tower! A 10 minute walk (750m) at night to Tokyo Tower area was a truly great experience.

Tokyo Grand Hotel has one of the best locations. Very close to Shiba Park where you can see Tokyo Tower perfectly. It is also close to some stations (5-12 minutes walk). The hotel also provided me with complete amenities that you can ask for (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer, towels etc). Moreover, I love the room that they gave. I could see Tokyo Tower from the corner of my window. Such a nice view. I enjoy my stay there and would love to recommend this hotel

Alot of amenities around, walking distance to a number of station including hamamatsucho,. Lots of food places and got a Tokyo tower view from my room for agoda secrets bookings. Awesome.

Best beds so far in Tōkyō”
The pricing is pretty much unbeatable (4956¥/night). And the bed has been the best so far in Tōkyō – jumping on it was the greatest fun! And never have I slept so well. The direct view on the Tōkyō Tower is another fantastic feature of this hotel. The only downsides are that the hotel seems relatively old, and that the breakfast is not very good & too small (…but both details not relevant for such a good price).

about 8-10 minsutes walk from Hamamatsucho train station and about 2 minutes walk from Shibakoen subway. The place is good in a not too busy street and area is clean and safe.

Staffs are very helpful and kind. The room is a bit small and slightly different from the photo displayed. Overall is good, walking to distance to Shibakoen and Daimon area. However, if you travel with elderly and plan to take the subway, just for info there is no elevator at A1 subway exit and you need to exit from A3. Reconsider if you travel with elderly especially those can't walk and climb the staircase a lot as you need to climb a lot through out the Mita Line.

Tokyo tower view”
I had a room with Tokyo Tower view as requested. I wish I could get a non-smoking room; however, I smelled strong cigarette odors when I entered the room. The room was enough size for one person, but might be small for two. About 10-minute walk to the park and Tokyo Tower.

This is a very old hotel, still using key to access door. Furniture and fittings are considerably worn out, but still clean and comfortable. We stayed for only 1 night so didn't get to explore much about the hotel. 15 to 25min walking to JR Hamamatsucho Station (the Tokyo Monorail station to/fro Haneda Airport), which is considerably tiring if you are bringing large luggage, so do take a taxi. A lot of restaurants along the way from train station to hotel.

Good value for Tokyo but don’t expect too much!”
Semi double rooms are very small and basic and probably ready for refurbishment. Bed is tucked into a corner and up against a wall - so not ideal. Basins in bathroom were shoddy in both rooms we stayed in. Breakfast was adequate but limited for western palate. That said, we paid £50 which was very reasonable for Tokyo. Location was good - close to subway and not too far from monorail. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous.
