Desperate for room cleaning”

Overall ok experience, except I get a morning call at least once every morning (around 10:30am) telling me that last order for room cleaning is at 12pm - when it was written clearly on the instruction card that cleaning is 10-4pm. Put me under so much stress to leave the hotel by 12. I’m on holiday not going to work/ school-Id like to leave whenever I want thank you’

Fair stay”

Breakfast is fine, location is good and it's close to JR (but far from Sunshine city), small room as expected, quite old the facility, given the relatively cheap price in town, this is a fair stay.

Clean friendly staff and great location”

Traditional Japanese Breakfast was included which was quite a surprise as I didn’t request for it at the time of booking. Location is great about 5/10 mins walk from Ikebukuro station. WiFi works well. They even have a business Centre at lobby which you can print out documents. Free hot and cold water. Apart from the small size room and bathroom, it’s a very decent hotel for budget holiday makers.

This is my 2nd time booking at Toyoko Inn Ikebukuro. Love the hotel's location, and got it for a great value. Every time I'm booking hotels, Toyoko Inn is always my first choice. The hotel price always include breakfast, which is always a deal breaker for me. This hotel always serves good breakfast. All the staff are very nice, accommodating, and are willing to help. Utilities are amazing. Rooms and toilets are small, but are on point. I also love that this hotel is very close to Ikebukuro JR Station, and lots of restaurants, convenient stores, and more.

Spacious yet cosy quiet haven”

Super convenient spot, very quiet room, great laundry facilities and a very hearty free breakfast with delightful service. All positive!

Velue for money, central location”

The quiet side of ikebukuro, close to limousine bus to airport, plenty of food around. The room is really small, probably the smallest room i have ever seen in japan but that's not really a problem unless you have lots of big luggage.

Close to the JR station , good price to value”

Even we get a smoking room (we are non-smoker) there is not so smell of smoke but sometimes there is slightly foul smell from the toilet , I think that's due to the water pipe problem ! Not so serious and overall is good !

Nicely Hotel not too far from subway.”

walk around 8 mins from subway station to the hotel. the room is good, clean and comfortable. the hotel area have many restaurants around but have too many club around there too.

Small room ”

Got a smoking room even though we wanted a non smoking room, and we weren't able to change it. Very very small room.
