Great Location and Great Price”
It's a guest house, so you should know what you are getting yourself into. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. Rooms were small but there was enough room where I was comfortable enough. The best part for me was the fact that it was so close to Nakano Broadway, the famous shopping center that has endless amounts of vintage goodies for sale. You will be hard pressed to find a better bang for your buck in Tokyo.

The hotel just 7 minutes walk from the hostel. in front of 7 Evelen. U can walk to go Nakano Broadway Mall. I love it.

The Coin party is wonderful ”
The location is good , 5-10 minutes walk from station. Through the street, it’s easily to find different kind of food to eat. The coin dinner was great too.

Convenient and cheap :)”
You get what you pay for here. Rooms are small but mostly clean. Staff are friendly, but you wont need to interact with them much if you so choose. Nakano is excellent to explore as well as close to Shinjuku which gets you anywhere else you need to go. The shower water pressure is excellent too ahaha

The location is awesome (near Nakano station). But there are only two shower rooms for all the people. On the first two days, there wasn't any bath product... The room wasn't clean enough (lots of dust).

The staff was kinda OK--friendly, but didn't seem so eager to offer help. And decent was the location since it was located between Nakano and Shin-nakano stations. Everything else was quite disappointing. The room was extremely small (and we thought we were fine with any room size, that is, until we came here) and the wall was so thin that you could hear the people in the adjacent room snoring as if they stayed in your room. Walking steps outside were audible to you as well. The room though was quite clean, perhaps because it was so small there wasn't much space to get dirty. The bathroom and the toilet was always clean, a good point we must admit. But there was always that foul odor wafting in the air coming from the toilet. It didn't enter our room but if we went outside we could never miss it. The facilities here were super inadequate: no washing machine, no drying machine, no elevator. The air conditioner seemed aged and was not working well. And the toilet was not washlet.

The air con kept blowing in my face”
Other than the staff which I had a great time talking to and getting information from, my stay was unfortunately rather distressing. They gave me an upper bed facing the air con; I have no access of its control -- I could only resort to unplugging it when some other guest decided to turn it on in the middle of the night. No toiletries was available -- not even communal. I have had better comfort in some other legally sketchy accommodation.

AMAZING STAFF & PEOPLE! Staff cooked new years eve dinner for everyone, had a small party, and took everyone to Hatsumode (first New Years visit to a shrine) nearby. Made me feel very welcomed and it's super supportive and safe for a solo female traveller. Very close to Nakano Shopping Street which is a great place to shop for snacks etc. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and vibe”
Yadoya was perfectly located (near Koenji station), with really warm staff and a charming atmosphere. Steps away from the station and in the vicinity of a ton of different restaurants. It's really, really tiny (as are most places in Tokyo), so be forewarned if you intend to bring a very large luggage. I was in the 4-person female dorm, and there was barely enough room to open up my backpack. Other than that, well-located and lovely place to stay.

Fells like home!”
The best Guesthouse that I have found in Tokyo. Friendly staff, everythig clean, close to Shinjuku. I decided to stayed in Yadoya for a few weeks as I was really comfortable. I will come back next time for sure!

Charming and hospitable hostel near Nakano”
I needed a hostel close to Nakano station, and Yadoya was perfect. Note, the rooms are very, very small (as expected for Tokyo!), so if you're staying in the dorm rooms, note that you won't be able to lay out a giant suitcase for packing and re-packing. I was traveling with a 60L backpack. It is located very close to Nakano station and Nakano broadway. The street it is on is quiet. The helpful, friendly staff even run a flea market from the front desk! Would definitely stay here again.

Great travel links but very budget hostel”
We stayed for one night and were happy with the location for ease of getting to Shibuya and Shinjuku. The actual hostel itself was pretty budget though. The beds were uncomfortable and creaky, mine was by the window and I was freezing cold. For the price is just seemed very basic and shabby. It's a shame as we've definitely stayed in Japan in hosts that are lower cost and a lot more comfortable and well kept.
