Perfect for family travel with young kid. A kid corner at ground floor with toys and books. Kids love it very much. And free to use the massage chairs next to the kid corner. Rooms are clean and roomy. We booked dinner(beef and chicken sukiyaki) in the hotel and taste very good. Public bath is a bit small but clean. Private bath is nice, better to reserve via e-mail before arrive hotel which is very popular. Staffs are helpful and friendly. They gave us instant hand warmers when we were going out in the cold weather. We stayed at second floor with a microwave outside the room which is really useful. Traditional Japanese breakfast are tasty. Staffs contacted us to confirm dinner and other details 1 month before the stay. Least than 10 mins walk to the main street and supremarket.

Great hotel in Yadoya”
The staff are very kind, polite and helpful, they would send me emails asking for any request and my preference (Children will have a welcome gift with a large pack of firework ! It is amazing !). The dinner and breakfast are GREAT !! We are all satisfied. The location of the hotel is good as it is near the main road (5 mintues walk). The room is very large with Two double beds and play area for my child. Everything in the hotel are good enough for a comfortable stay but only the hot spring, as it was surround by wooden boards that we could not enjoy the fantastic scene of Yadoya.

Perfect location for relax”
I and my mom stayed here for the second time. The staff welcome us warmly and recognize and thank you for our 2nd visit. They surprised us by upgrading our room from 'Standard Room With Tatami Area' to be 'Superior room with tatami area'. The room size is very large and has mountain view. Don't forget to choose Kiseki dinner and breakfast option. The food is very worth for your money. Location is close to the shopping road and short walk to the lake. You can make resevation for the private onsen time slot in advance (3 onsen rooms to choose). 50 min to use. It's so relax. When we checked out, after leaving hotel already, surprisingly the staff followed us to give us the complimentary gift. In overall of our trip, my mom love this place the most. We'll visit here again if we visit Yufuin.

wonderful stay at this great hotel!”
travelling with my mother. the hotel is just a few mins walk from the kirin lake and the main tourist street. big room with all the amenities. great private onsens!!!!! dinner and breakfast is superb too! and most importantly, staff is super nice and helpful. my mother is so pleased with the hotel and will definitely come again.

I must say that this is the best hotel that I have ever stayed in. Everything from service, dinner, breakfast, private hot spring, location, view, the room, facilities is simply perfect. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Yufuin.

Excellent destination for family”
Friendly staff with baby friendly facilities. My one year old baby had a great time and strongly recommend this hotel. Their onsen is good too.

It was worth staying at the hotel. You can reserve a private hot spa and dinner. It was traditional Japanese food. I really enjoyed my stay. Definitely would come back.

Great with grandmother!”
Staffs were so friendly, especially to my grandmother who was uncomfortable to walk. They lent wheelchairs to move, and there were handrails in the hotel. Next time I come to Yuhuin, I will stay here.

Traditional setting in a tranquil environment ”
Private onsen as well as public bath are available for house guests. Free onsite parking. Well maintained property. Meals were delicious. Staff was very thoughtful of giving us a pair of hand warmers on check out.

Nice little place located right next to the heart of yufuin. Quiet and having an onsen on sight that you can use morning and night for free while staying is a plus. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The beds are a little hard and bathrooms small side but I would book here again!

The 2nd floor spa bathroom is very good. Breakfast is Japanese, fine and delicious. I will choose this hotel again next time.

A traditional onsen resort with good service and wonderful food”
The place is not difficult to find by driving. The staff is nice and helpful. We have 2 50-minute sessions to use the private onsen which was great The dinner was very good and yummy!

Pros: The private spring baths were very nice and the staff are kind, they gave us hand warmer daily when we go out. Also, there are many gifts for us whenever check in or out!
