Small, wonderful hotel nearby La Rambla”
I had a really good experience in Hesperia Ramblas. A small hotell between La Rambla and the area "Raval", close to La Boqueria. Concidering the location, the rooms were very, very quiet. Not the most fantastic view from our windows, but picturesque and what we the second day realized was one of the entrances to the Boqueria-restaurants. Wonderful staff, clean and modern rooms. We were a company of five, including two children 11 and 13 years of age. Free wi-fi in the rooms, wich the children loved. Breakfastbuffé was good, with both readymade bikini-sandwiches, toast, cheese, pastries, fruit, good assortment of teas (one of them was my favourite chinese "puh err tea")and strong coffee. I can recommend this hotel to everyone!

Decent Stay at Well-Located Hesperia Ramblas”
Hesperia Ramblas is a very strategically-located hotel right beside La Ramblas, but quiet enough for a night's sleep. Location is excellent, very close to Barri Gothic, the Cathedral and other attractions including Plaza Catalunya which is the main transportation hub here, and staff working at the front office are also brilliant. Sleep quality was average, while amenities could be improved upon. I liked the fact that you could book tours at the front office. Plenty of restaurants barely a minute away from the hotel. With a little bit of work, it can match some of the other NH Collection hotels in terms of room comfort. A decent option to stay in Barcelona.

Best place to stay in Barelona without overspendin”
I first came to this hotel with my mother 3 months ago. Although they forgot to clean out our room for one day, they were very apologetic about it and even left the sweetest apology note. I came back with my bf again a couple of weeks ago and he loved it too. If we ever come back to Barcelona we're definitely staying here again. The location is amazing and very central, right on La Ramblas and walking distance to all the major attractions and to the underground stations. Love this place!

a nice small hotel with great service”
My stay was very pleasant. I travelled with 3 young children and a senior. I arrived late at nite, asking for an extra bed for my 7 year old kid. The staff provides extra bed free of charge.check-in was a breeze. The hotel is only steps away from bouqeria market and la ramblas. Very close to metro, liceu station. Carrefour is nearby, easy to find breakfast. Transportation to airport is easy, buy aerobus ticket, get off at placa catalunya. from placa catalunya you can either go by metro stop at liceu (1 stop) or you can walk (a few hundred meters).

Had a very pleasant stay! ”
The location is perfect as you only need to walk 1 minute to go the La Ramblas. The room and the bathroom was overall clean through out our stay. However, the bed is quite hard. On the other hand, the staff was also very helpful. Initially, I asked for an electric kettle at night but they didn’t have it at that moment and promised that they will deliver to us tomorrow once it is available. I was not sure if they will do as promised, but surprisingly they did! I also loved that they provide booking to the tourist attractions.

Right in La Ramblas”
It was great, room wasn't small and very clean n nice design. Location is perfect! Easily walkable from the airport express bus terminal at catalunya square. No problem pulling your heavy luggage from there to the hotel, la ramblas is full of tourists pulling their luggages and tourist police, felt very safe. No gypsies to harrass you, they must have clean up the scene for tourists. It would be more of a hassle to take metro to Liceu station to reach hotel, just take airport express bus n alight at last stop.

Great hotel in a great location”
Decent sized comfortable rooms always kept clean, great shower, no bath. Reception staff exceptionally helpful. Breakfast ok. Located less than 100 yards from La Rambla. Approximate walking times - 15 minutes from the port, 10 minutes from the main Place de Catalunya for tour buses, Metro underground 5 minutes. Lots of eating places but few decent restaurants locally especially if you are not keen on seafood. Plenty to see and do across the city.

i personally, got good impression from hesperia. the staff was really nice, more than "official information center" she was from germany, she taught me how i could get where i'd like to visit, to eat, to get a chance to sightseeing, she was really kind and a perfect staff. thanks to her help, i was able to enjoy the "el clasico" at that night without a hitch. i was going to say "thank you" the next day, but she was not on shift. and the room was perfectly clean and mordern. i showed a picture to some of my friends, they immediately said "i wanna go there" and when i first entered the room, there was a promotion snack on the bed, i know that's not from the hotel, but from the food company, but it was nice first experience. location is also superb. everything was perfect for me.

Good enough for travellers on budget”
Hesperia catered what we typically need - a place to crash during the night since we were out all day. The room was clean, and we have housekeeping everyday which is what we needed as we have our hyperactive toddler with us who just messes up the room all the time. The staffs were friendly & helpful, they gave us discounts in tours. The only cons is: The room was typically small (where in fact i asked the reception if they can give us a bigger room Since the hotel was not fully booked since due to winter season). The bed were just two joined single bed even if i asked for a kings bed. We didnt hotherto complain anymore since we can live with it and had started unpacking. Also the room has no complimentary water/coffee/tea, good thing this hotel is near carrefour and managed to get what we needed. We just asked if they can provide us kettle - which they did and said its on per request basis Its typically for travellers on budget, but overall we enjoyed our stay

Nice hotel near the famous La Boqueria market ”
We chose this hotel because it is right near La Rambla and next to the back of the La Boqueria market, with very easy access to the Metro station Liceu. The hotel itself is very professional, with free high-speed wifi, a very nice and clean bathroom, and all the basic amenities like an in-room safe. I liked the room very much because it was very quiet even though the hotel is in a very busy part of town. My brother and our friend were quite nervous when 2 strange men were making them uncomfortable right outside the hotel at around 10 o'clock in the evening. Overall, the hotel itself is great and the staff is very accommodating in helping you get directions or get a taxi to go to the airport. Just be careful in the area and try not to be alone at night.

Good experience but not as good as others say”
Overall the Hesperia is a good hotel in a great location directly off La Rambla. The rooms are clean but lack any real personality. The bed was too hard. Great shower, good internet. The breakfast is not nearly as good as others have mentioned, it was average to say the least and the staff seemed moody and unable or unwilling to speak English. Hesperia Ramblas = OK

The hotel was very central, just 100 mt to Las Ramblas, 150 mt to Bouqeria; very close to metro and touristic bus to see the touristical places and "Aerobus" for airport transfer. Internet connection was very low at our room, but staff instructed us while check-in. Clean, wide room & bathroom. Wardrop was small.. If we come back, can stay again.

We got the basic room but we were upgraded to a better room for free. The hotel is right in the center of La Rambla. Only 2 minute walk to Metro and few steps to a good Turkish restaurant.

We reached the hotel in the early morning after long flight and we can check in the hotel once we reach at 10am. Hotel is located near La Ramblas just one street out you'll see La Ramblas and metro station. Room is clean, modern and comfortable with complimentary Wifi.

Very good stay at Hesperia, soo clean and nice all over the hotel. Nice personal that spoke very good English. Perfect size on our room. Not soo nice view from the window and to hard bead but besides that everything was perfect.

Had a great stay at Hesperia. Great location near all the main sites. Great customer service from front desk in recommendation of directions and other tourist info. Only thing no wifi signal in the room And could have done with free coffee and tea in room.
