Superb”

Rimas is super friendly and cooks well. He knows a lot about the area and is happy to guide you around. We enjoyed a full day trekking and went to the hotsprings in Hapao and some other viewpoints in the area by his jeepney.
IMPORTANT: the location shown on booking.com (before you book it) and google maps is NOT correct. It is located inside Batad, which is beautiful, but requires a 45 mins hike from the parking lot near Batad. We recommend to leave your luggage at the tourism office in Banaue and continue with a small backpack. Especially if you're planning to do a multiple day hike from town to town.

The location is awesome and also the food they gave us, delicious!!. We haven't found anything like this in all Philippines.
When the electricity is down there is no water to have a shower. The CR is shared.

Wonderful”

Morris served as a guide to the water falls and the best view point in the mountains, as well as to harvest the rice in the family field with the typical attire worn by women in ancient times. Batad is a place where you will discover the local life in the mountains, their customs and routines. A memorable experience in the middle of nature and away from it all.
