A great escape”
A nice hideaway from busy Dubai. We had a nice experience during our stay. The room was huge, the pool was nice and the staffs are helpful as well.

Staying here is a great way to relax on a weekend. Staff were all very accommodating and very prompt to respond to any request. Room is very spacious, however lightings are a bit dark, maybe this is part of the theme of the Hotel which we don't mind. Breakfast was also something to enjoy plus the very friendly attitude of the Restaurant staff. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Good resort and we knew the area but please remember if you come for Dubai and think it is 45 minutes away then you will be disappointed. The hotel is in Al Hamra village which is 50 minutes from Dubai airport when the traffic is very good at its worse it can take over 90 minutes. If you want to visit the sites in Dubai such as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall you need to really add at least another 40 minutes you your journey. Hotel is good and clean and staff fantastic

Grossly overpriced ”
We were sadly disappointed with the stay at what is supposedly a 5 star Hotel. The beach is very basic with hard sand and wooden lounge chairs, nothing appealing. The rooms are not equipped with basic amenities like hair dryer, shower cap, cotton buds etc. The shower in the bathtub wasn't working. The swimming pool at the establishment is a joke, it's too small for the hotel size (And divided into a kids pool) The breakfast is mediocre, no variety. It's saving grace is probably Mai Thai and Belgian Beer Cafe located at the property. Definitely not going back here again.

One of the worst experiences! After arriving, having booked a King bed room, they tried to upgrade me to a "bigger room with two single beds" which was not only not what I wanted but dirty and stunk from smoke. When I told them I wanted a king bed as booked, they said no problem, and conveniently charged me an additional 115...when confronted about the difference in price they said because they had to upgrade me to put me in a king bedroom. After 45 minutes arguing with 3 different "managers" as they all claimed, I was able to get my 115 back and keep the room I booked. Their only explanation for the entire disaster was it was my fault for booking on a third party website!!!! (FYI, the hotels website wouldn't accept booking which is what lead me to third party site. NEVER will I come back! Just down the road is Al Hamra Village which is cheaper and much better according to our friends who were staying there.

A Holiday to Cherish...!!!”
The holiday in Hilton Al Hamra was indeed a one to cherish. The facilities were just excellent and the sea view from my room was what I enjoyed the most. The staffs were all so caring and made it clear that we were at comfort. As it was holiday season, we faced heavy traffic at check in, and room allotment was delayed by 1 hour, as the room was not ready which was expected due to the high number of travellers in the hotel. The restaurants were found to be expensive, rather to check out goodies in Spinneys in Al Hamra mall which is just a km away from hotel. The private beach is the fun part. With excellent water sports and security provisions you will enjoy every bit of it. On the whole, its a holiday we shall always cherish Best Regards.. Jimin Jacob

Good Value + Amazing Staff = BEST Resort!!!”
We had such a great time! The staff were very accommodating. The place is so amazing and everything is just perfect!!!!! We have been to a lot of Beach resorts and we can say that the hospitality in this resort is really the BEST!!! Special Thanks to one of the staff, Mr. Nelson Padolina. He really takes good care of the guests, very courteous and so professional! Hope you can extend our outmost appreciation and we hope he can get good credit ;) From check in to check out, everything was fast and efficient! There is nothing to complain to this resort. We strongly recommend this beach resort to those who would like to spend their holiday in a quiet, relaxing and stress-free place :)

Worst Hilton Management Ever.Dont waste your money”
Having arrived at the hotel with a confirmed booking from Agoda for 2 rooms (6 persons) and to my first surprise hilton staff confirmed that there was no reservation under my name. The Hilton staff took more than an hour trying to get in touch with their reservation staff to check why this has happened. I had to call Agoda on my own expense whomsaid that this booking was confirmed and they were more professional than all the hilton staff whereby they got in touch with the hotel and the hotel was at fault where they have confirmed the booking to Agoda but never put it on their system. Second our first room was handed over at 2:30pm and third room was still not handed over till the time I wrote this email (ie 4pm). I have never faced such level of unprofessionalism and handing rooms with delays of 2 hrs. As a frequent hotel visitor, "sorry" is not an acceptable term in the hotel industry and especially in a "hilton" chain. How can a hotel be sorry for not giving me my rooms on time and having 4 kids with us whom have suffered waiting in the lobby for hrs and then having to wait 30 mins for our luggage. When you are booking a hotel for one night to spend the weekend you expect to get the room on time to enjoy the beach and your short stay. Having been in my room till 4pm and having lost most of the precious time. Horrible experience and wish I never came here. This team is not equipped to handle high occupancy and very poor response from the management team to resolve matters. Thanks for ruining our weekend. Stayed April 2014, traveled with family

Stay was awesome. Beautiful spot with great beach for swimming. Upgraded our room and prepared a romantic bed setting for our wedding anniversary. Staffs were awesome. Wish to stay longer. Will definitely return & will recommend to friends & families. We only wish, pools are open even during night time, some guests are more comfortable swimming in the pools and during night time only esp to Arab families.

NICE PLACE FOR RELAXATION”
NICE IN GENERAL, BUT WE HAD FEW COMMENTS ABOUT ROOM COMFORT AND CLEANLINESS. FIRST THE ROOM IS NOT WELL EQUIPED AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A 5 STARS RESORT. THE AIR CONDITION IS SO NOISY. OTHER THAN THAT ALL WAS NICE AND CALM.

the arabic restaurant is really bad”
we've tried the arabic restaurant 3 years ago when it was still under the management of hamra fort and it wasn't bad at all and we were shocked when we tried it this time. they had no staff and all the customers were complaining abou the lack of service and the food quality. seems Hilton still needs some time to work it out

Nice and relaxing”
Enjoyable break from the hustle of Dubai. Trader Vic's very tasty food at a reasonable price. Lovely beach area with access to wi-fi some distance away from the hotel building.

Disappointing for the price paid”
The property is really tired and needs an urgent refurbishment. The bathtub condition was really deplorable. None of the activities listed are available at the property. Although called a Golf Resort does not have golf at the property. Room service took almost an hour and half to be delivered and that too after 4-5 calls.

Nice hotel but need more staff for transportation inside the property as huge place and some rooms very far but we enjoyed the breakfast and the beach. Housekeeper Youssef was excellent and help us a lot

adequate but disappointing catering wise”
Generally relaxing but very, very disappointed at the lack of good quality restaurant option. Also disappointed that in this day and age one has to subscribe to wifi - the cost of staying can surely incorporate such a charge. The golf club next door also had pretty average catering so it would not be a place for people who like to wine and dine with good food and beverage. Apart from the buffet option the only other facility at which one could eat was a bar, which was well populated by inebriated patrons following their brunch at the hotel - a pretty unpleasant and rowdy option really.
