Value for Money”
The hotel is extremely big, so you have to take a shuttle to get to your room if you are staying in on of the nice chalets. Part of us were staying there and the rooms were really nice. Part of us were staying in the family building and though it as pretty close to everything, the rooms were not nice and not clean (at all). Our friends didn't know they should leave a tip for a cleaner and ended up without toiletries at all. There are many pools in different locations, so wherever you are, the is a pool near you. The beach was amazing, it was a sand beach and there was an area with corals, so you could watch the fishes as well. The food was good. We have stayed in 5 hotels in Egypt and some of them pretty expensive, The Long Beach had the best food, I guess. Overall, the value for money is really high. The reception staff was very helpful. Our friend got injured and Beshoy Khalf from the reception helped us a lot. He was very attentive and helpful. The only thing is that I will never book with agoda again, because there was a problem with processing our payment from the hotel side. We were with Agoda customer service for 3 days continuously, they were assuring us, that everything would be fine. We went there, wee checked in and the next day we were locked out of our room because of the payment. I was so angry that I told them we will make the payment at the hotel if you want it or not. Thankfully, everything was fine, we didn't get double-charged, but the frustration was enourmous.

Not Hilton anymore : Cleanliness!!”
The hotel is not Hilton anymore for more than 3 years. We had major issues with cleanliness the moment we stepped into the hotel and my room. I had to leave immediately after the first night. The staff did their best to help out which I appreciate but I would not recommend this hotel

Keine 4 Sterne, keine Tauchbasis, enttaeuschend”
Nach Ankunft wurden uns zunaechst einmal nochmal USD 140 pro Person fuer die Silvestergala in Rechnung gestellt (ohne Getraenke!). Dies war so nirgends angkuendigt oder vermerkt aber laut Hotel verpflichtend. Das Essen war durchweg bestenfalls durchschnittlich (hoechstens 2 Sterne Niveau) und besonders an besagter teurer Gala das Geld nicht wert. Fuer USD 140 sollte weitaus bessere Qualitaet drin sein, und sicher auch die Getraenke. Die Show an der Gala war so nervend, dass wir um 22.00 geganden sind. Und 3 von den 4 Personen unserer Gruppe haben sich vom Hotelessen einen ordentlichen Durchfall zugezogen. Weiterhin waren wir zum Tauchen nach Hurghada gekommen, nur um festzustellen dass die beworbene Tauchbasis im Hotel geschlossen war. Das Meer vor dem Hotel ist auch wenig prickelnd, dort hat es ueber mehrere hundert Meter nur Flachwasser (max 1m) so dass man nicht recht Schwimmen oder Schnorcheln kann. Ein Riff mit Fischen und genug Wassertiefe zum Schwimmen findet sich erst nach substantiellem Fussmarsch ganz am anderen Ende des Strandes. Am Pool nerven dafuer andauernd irgendwelche Verkaeufer die gegen Aufpreis Massagen oder Alkohol loswerden wollen. Das Sportangebot ist sehr beschraenkt, es hat nur Zumba, Yoga und einen kleinen Kraftraum und auch am Abend gibt's nicht recht was zu tun. Sauber ist das Hotel allerdings, wenn auch die Zimmereinrichtung partiell schon etwas abgegriffen wirkt.
