We had the privilege of staying 4 nights at the Hilton Luxor and thoroughly enjoyed every single second. The staff at the Hilton Luxor are extremely helpful, courteous and friendly...from the gardener and security staff to housekeeping and the managers. I loved that each time we returned to the hotel, we were greeted with "Welcome back!" and a genuine smile. Our housekeeper Khaled did an absolutely wonderful job of keeping our room in tip-top shape and created the most AMAZING towel sculptures! The restaurant Olives has a wonderful selection of food at extremely affordable prices and the staff are very helpful. The pool...was heaven. Such a welcome experience after spending time sightseeing - cool, clean, and plenty of room for everyone. Thank you Hilton Luxor for treating us so extremely well. Very enjoyable hotel, good location, ”
we only had two days here and unfortunately had to work for one of them so we didn't get to relax as much as we would have liked. hilton luxor is a lovely hotel, friendly staff and excellent management. the breakfast is varied and very good. the room services dinner we found to be too greasy (a problem overall we have found with eating in egypt generally) - they cook with butter rather than olive oil. we had a problem when we checked out - we advised the concierge that we need a taxi to take us to the blue sky marina (south of sheraton hotel) to joine our nile cruise ship the sonnesta moon goddess. the concierge spoke with the taxi driver and advised us the cost would be egp50. when we got to our destination, the taxi driver asked us for egp70 which made us angry and he blamed the concirege - so again - a problem in egypt not just the hilton luxor- is spivvy taxi drivers constantly trying to rip off travellers. the only other problem we had was not the hilton itself but rather booking through agoda and the problem agoda has with it's voucher system saying "breakfast is not included when it was included. i spent a lot of time tooing and froing trying to sort this issue out, and thankfully it was the helpful staff at hilton luxor who sorted the matter out and confirmed that agoda bookings for hilton luxor do include breakfast and the problem is agoda's error and problem with issuing incorrect vouchers. so thank you again nancy in hilton luxors reservation dept. however, due to the problem we had with agoda and how long it took agoda to rectify the problem, i am reluctant to use agoda again for booking hotel accommodation.

This hotel is located three kilometers from the busy and nosy city of Luxor. And at 1 km from the historic site of Karnak. Within the domain of this hotel you can relax on the banks of the Nile: around the pool or on the various terraces. All room have high quality standards. Most of them have garden and pool view. It takes you at least one week to discover all possibilities of the breakfast buffet, a service in one of the restaurants of the hotel. Overall a great stay , a minor issue with the air conditioning in our room not going below 22 deg overnight, we were given a upgrade which we appreciated . I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Luxor. In my view when tourism eventually picks up this hotel will thrive. The best hotel experience i have had :)”
We had a fantastic time there right from check in, everything was so nice and they made us feel very special.It was the best hotel experience we have had. I could not fault anything about the hotel. The location was great, situated on the banks of the Nile River overlooking the west bank and the valley of the kings. All the staff were so helpful and did what ever they could to make our stay more enjoyable, very many thanks to Abdel Nasser, Abdel Salam and Mohamed.It is close to all the attractions, airport and transport. Everything you need is located in the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and nice style, our room overlooked the nile and swimming pool. It was worth every dollar and would highly recommend to anyone going to Luxor. Also recommend taking a faluca sail boat from the hotel to watch the sunset.

It's the most lovely experience I had in Egypt! We arrived late in the night, the staff warmly welcomed us with a very nice drink. They also gave us a big honeymoon surprise at the second night! The pool is small but cute, the atmosphere in the resort is really comfortable. I will recommend friends to stay there if anyone is going to Luxor.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly (especially pool staff) and attentive and willing to make accommodations for food allergies (celiac disease). Included breakfast was ok, though nothing spectacular. The hotel claims to have several restaurants though 2 of them use the same (mediocre) menu. Rooms are clean and serviced early and quickly. It was a great option with kids as there was a joining room for a very reasonable price. Very comfortable. Laundry was done quickly (expensive as is the norm with most hotels).

I stayed here for 5 nights and wish I’d stayed longer. I hope to go back! The hotel is right on the Nile - very quiet and serene - 10 min drive from the town, 20 mins from the airport. I booked a King Pool View room and the balcony view of the Nile was spectacular! Great for catching sunset and spotting the hot air balloons at sunrise. The room itself was spacious and very clean, as were all the hotel areas. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever seen! There are 3 restaurants and all the food is delicious and the cocktails were amazing! But what really makes this hotel the best I have ever stayed at is the staff and the best-in-class service I’ve ever experienced. From check in to check out the service was perfect! Thank you to all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. I don’t know everyone’s names but I would like to give special thanks to Nasser, Elshazly, Ismail, and Eliza! Hope to see you again :)

I was upgraded to a nile view room. I found all staff at this hotel pleasant and helpful. You can smell the cleaness of the hotel as soon as you enter. For me the Gym was the reason to book the HYLTON. Equipment looks new. over looking the Nile and valley of the kings. Breakfast so much to choose from excellent egg chef Abeer is her name the female waitress always got my hot lemon for me. The pool staff moved the umbrella around as the sun moved very child friendly. Also Free Wi-fi in all areas of this hotel. I will definitely book this hotel again and highly recommend it

Absolute paradise”
We booked this very last minute for a bit of pampering and relaxation towards the end of our Egypt trip. We walked in all hot (45 degrees) and immediately felt calm and peaceful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The whole place was very peaceful and calm and the staff were amazing. The spa was glorious and the breakfast was just about the best thing ever.

The service was really good. Especially from the bar near the pool. His name is Ahmed (bartender). I believe he has potential to do more and grow within Hilton. The only point is that food, drinks and Shisha is pretty pricy and not cheap at the pool area. Other than that, it’s a great experience

Room smelled like smoke”
At $123 per night after taxes, this place is quite spectacular. The only bummer was that the fan/AC circulated air smelling of cigarettes the last two nights of our stay. I'm giving cleanliness only two stars for cleanliness for that. The facilities are incredible, and the driver (not intended to be a guide) arranged by the concierge was fantastic. This hotel has everything covered and even worked some magic with the hot-air balloon operator after a "broken" credit card machine put our ride in jeopardy. In the end, we received an unexpected discount and were allowed to pay with our card after returning to the hotel. Awesome! Also worth noting is that they really push you towards the $25 dinner buffet.

Very pleasant. The service was excellent. Food prices were a little high for what was offered, but pricing in service & ambience, this is likely appropriate. The quality of food could be better; although it is on par with comparable restaurants in Egypt, to truly be considered a five star restaurant this is the only area to be improved.
