Wasn't worth it”
Was really expecting a nice room for Hilton but instead it felt cramped with an awful view of roof top weeds. The place was clean but the style was out dated. Went to go enjoy the pool and jacuzzi but I wouldn't really call that a jacuzzi. Maybe a luke warm bath at best. However the staff where lovely and polite and I cannot fault them. Just disappointed by this overall experience and I won't be returning to a Hilton.

Very disappointing as Hilton.”
It is said that it's 3-star and it's Hilton. I very trust Hilton but this time is very disappointing! First of all, the staff and service are nice. It is just located in city centre beside the into Victoria centre. It is a little bit far from railway and bus station but convenient to take buses. However, the room is much far away from it is decribed on the web. The room is too small to open the suitcase! The decoration is rough. The doorframe is even damaged. And the layout of the building is very confusing even though there are signs on the wall. Anyway, it is eligible to stay as an Inn but not qualified for this price and a 3-star Hilton title.

Good with some reservations”
I had booked 'cosy' rooms which were just that, they were spotlessly clean and suited us. Breakfast (which was extra) was very good. The cost of Internet was £12.99 for 24 hours. The hotel which is situated in the centre of Nottingham was a perfect location for why we were there, however it would have been nice if the website let you know that there was a clock which chimed every hour on the hour, so if you are a light sleeper you were woken up every hour. The 'free' parking for the hotel is across the road in a public car park - it is very expensive if you stay in Nottingham after checking out of the hotel - we parked at 3.30pm the day before, checked out just before 10am, had our car park ticket 'validated' then left the carpark at 3.28pm and were charged £13.00. One word of caution, make sure you use the SATNAV postcode for the car park provided on the hotel website, otherwise you will get caught up in the one way system and drive around the centre of Nottingham a couple of times.

Good quality hotel in Nottingham centre”
this hotel is stunning from the outside and the inside is good quality. it's the friendly staff that really make this hotel stand out - oh and the amazing breakfast too! the spa is adequate but nothing to write home about, it has the usual pool, sauna set up and is a relaxing place to go for a while in an evening. the rooms which have been renovated are to a high standard, the single rooms are on the small side but still good quality. the housekeepers were v friendly & seemed to do a very good job. i had no complaints. i did find the room on the top floor (note the lift only goes to floor 5 and some rooms are on 6th floor) a little noisy due to the air con unit outside so asked to be moved, it was no hassle to the staff at all. on the downside the floorboards do creak a lot, the plumbing is a little noisy and there is little air conditioning but don't let this put you off. there is a multi-storey car park opposite the hotel and the hotel charges per day to park in it's small carpark right next to the hotel - if that's not good enough there is also a valet parking service in nottingham (car spa logistics) who will collect your car and park it and return it to you for per day.

The most expensive parking i have encountered”
I'm not pleased with this hotel. Firstly i was thinking that it is under Hilton, hence it should be better in all ways. I was wrong. The first thing is parking. There is open car park available out the hotel which has approximately 8 - 10 lots. It cost 15 pound per day on the parking, i arrived on midnight and going to leave 7 hours later, they still charge on the 15 pound. Usually hotel will provide free parking when we booked the hotel with them, i have booked other hotels during my trip, this is the only one with paying car park, quite disappointment with this hotel.

I expected a bit more!”
The location was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Some of the rooms were tiny and looked like the room was built around a double bed! No internet access except in the foyer (for 60 minutes. Internet only available in the room if you were willing to pay £14.99 for 24 hours use which was extremely pricey. Saying all that I would still return to the Hilton Nottingham just for location alone. At least the next time I would know what to expect and would be less disappointed. For a Hilton Hotel I probably expected a lot more going on their reputation and the pictures on the website.

Lovely stay”
It was a really nice stay, all the staff were very friendly, the location in the centre of the city was great. The pool was really nice and the room was much larger than expected! Big for a Hilton! The bar was nice. The only issue was that there were a couple of large hen-party like groups, who were pretty noisy on the second night.

Lovely hotel with great service”
The hotel is situated right in the heart of the shopping district, and within walking distance of Nottingham Castle and "Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem" - a must see on any sightseeing trip. The rooms were fairly small, but clean. The staff were delightful - very helpful and friendly.

Spot on”
Me and my friend and I got a great deal for a one night stay, thanks agoda! We went to a gig at the capital fm arena which was only a 10 minute walk from the hotel so it was perfectly placed for us. The staff were very helpful and the room was nice and clean. We did have a view of a brick wall out of the window but that didn't bother me for the one night. We didn't have any food or use the facilities available so can't comment on them but everything there was more than adequate for our needs.

Not what i expected from a Hilton”
I booked the Hilton hotel as a surprise for my partner for Valentines day. When we walked into the lobby we were very impressed, the hotel looked classy and well decorated. The gentleman from concierge was very helpful and gave us directions on where to park and check in was very speedy! However when we went up to the room we were very disappointed. The room was very dated! The room was very dark, and i soon found that the huge lamp in the corner of the room by the mirror didn't work. The tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked and the carpet was stained by the entrance to the bathroom. The worst part was that every single floor board in the room creaked! walking to the bathroom in the night felt like mission impossible trying not to wake my partner. I cannot comment on the food as we ate out and didn't bother with breakfast. The location was brilliant. It was just a 3 minute walk to the shops and practically opposite is the cinema with lots of different restaurants. I did speak to guest services regarding our disappointment with the room and was told that the hotel was fully booked and the only room that they had available was a compact double, which was much smaller. We weren't interested in downgrading so we were offered a bottle of wine. We wouldn't stay at the Hilton again, such a shame about the state of the room.

Not as good as you expect from a Hilton”
Room was tiny and outdated (in serious need of a lick of paint and the floorboards fixing). The hotel areas outside of the room are nice and well decorated it's just the rooms that need sorting. We couldn't move around our room without disturbing people around us with floorboards that make so much noise it would take a highly skilled ninja to get to the bathroom without waking everyone in the room. My partner found a pin on the floor in the bathroom (luckily before we stood on it) and the windows have flaking paint. The hotel is let down heavily by the rooms. Evening meal in Nicholsons was lovely, but the breakfast (which costs just under £20 per person) was awful! Burnt bacon, undercooked sausages, luke warm eggs (that had just come from the kitchen) and generally just poor. You even had to make your own tea and toast, which I expect at Holiday Inn or Premier Inn but not at an apparently upmarket hotel like a Hilton. The gym and pool are nice but there was a problem with the pool heating (it was like getting into a warm bath, which is nice at first, but not great for swimming). All in all a reasonable hotel, but when you pay Hilton prices you expect better than reasonable.

Great city's centre location”
good hotel, great location in city centre full use of gym facilities and swimming pool. room was small with no view as it was in the back of the hotel but as we were only staying for one night not a problem.

Exceptional”
The public rooms and staff we met were very good. However the double deleux room was poor unlike the last time we stayed. Room was clean but badly maintained, shower curtain rail and shower hose broken. Dents in the wall and tired wall paper. The bed was creaky and must have had the oldest mattress in the hotel.

good hotel, but watch out for the car park!”
was overall happy with the stay, but felt a bit conned by the car park charges. Getting a room for a discount rate was undermined by the fact that we then paid for overnight car parking which brought the price up considerably. Great hotel, good staff, nice lobby and bar, all round very happy with the stay.

expected a high standard ”
I got this room for 100 pounds for a night, it was clean but it's was freezing in the room, had to wait for a man to switch on the radiator and then it made the loudest noise through the night, the shower tooj about 10 minutes before it heated up and I had to ask 3 different members of staff before I got my ice bucket that I requested. I understand that it is a busy city centre hotel but paying 100 for one night you expect hot heating and hot water without having to wait for both. Also I booked a twin room and only got one bed. The staff were present enough but the wait at reception was about 20 minutes, clearly need more staff.
