Great location across the beach and near restaurants ”
Great location across the beach and near restaurants. Everything is walking distance. The swimming pool is on the small size but the beach is across the road. Perfect for watching sunsets.

Great spot, but looking a bit tired”
We enjoyed our stay in a one bedroom apartment. Room size & layout was great and we had a fantastic view overlooking the bay. The room although clean was looking a bit dated/tired & needs a reno. Bed was super comfortable. Good location, just out of Noumena city close to restaurants. Beach is beautiful, even though there were a lot of roadworks going on & parts of the beach foreshore was being redone. Will look fantastic once completed. Staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful - although really not much information about what to do around Noumena - but in general hard to get info from any source.. Would stay again

Grifters, Scammers, Cheats. Stay away!”
The pool, although small, was great. The daily breakfast never changed & was decidedly ordinary and way overpriced. At checkout the hapless Gunter grifted us out of an extra 8,000 Francs for a child’s breakfast that a)was included in the price and b)she never ate. He had no interest in listening to us and he was determined to steal 8,000 Francs from us no matter what. He succeeded. Crooks! Stay away from this hotel.

Inside vs outside two different stories”
Inside of the room you are transported to 1970s Even my own home shower and toilet look cleaner better nicer than this one. Car park has no direction. You feel you might get raped anytime. Outside looks clean modern at very convenient location.

Amazing stay!”
Hilton Noumea La Promenade is located next to a beautiful beach, some bistros, cafes and the must-go aquarium are in walking distance. Additionally, I really enjoyed the sunset view everyday during my stay in my room. However, the staff in the restaurants should improve their service and communication skills to meet the standards of Hilton. I only had my breakfast in the restaurant for the first day, and I didn't want to go anywhere. The staff didn't respond to any needs (except for bills); and the foods are not well-prepared, e.g. some fruits are not fresh, and some drinks and breads looked like 'left over' on the bar for guests.

Great Location, tired hotel”
Great area as it is pretty much in the middle of all the night life and touristy part of the Ans Vata beach, but the facilities and the overall hotel and rooms look dated, tired and overdue for a a facelift. Facilities were fine but just not up to par with the Hilton Branding, i dont know why Hilton Hotel Chains have allowed this especially in Noumea which a very touristy destination and one of the expensive destination in the world. Non the less the staff were very accommodating. Noumea in general is pricey even on off peak season, you just imagine that all the value is pretty much Euros equevalent even though is Pacific Franc. Whatever anything would normally cost in Australia or New Zealand, when you buy similar item in Noumea its double the cost.

relaxing and chilling night of getaway”
fanstatic view and great location of Anse Vata. Restaurants, bars within 5 to 10 minutes walking and Anse Vata beach within 3 minutes walking. Great hotel for enjoying relaxing life in New Caledonia for short stay.

AN INTERESTING WEEK IN NOUMEA”
The New Caledonia experience was a mixed bag. I think you have to appreciate the social structure and the present political situation to appreciate where New Caledonia is at. It appears that the indigenous people have voted against independence at the moment so all is on hold including capital works on a lovely hotel like the Hilton which has the best position in Noumea. We travelled east on two occasions but found that the east coast is a difficult drive and disappointing on arrival in that the scenery is inspiring and pristine but there are no tourist facilities even for a sandwich for lunch.

Great apartments for a family or large group ”
My family (2 kids, 2 parents and Nanna) just spent 4 nights in a 3br apartment at the Hilton. It was the perfect place for us! As we were a group that included 3 adults we needed separate bedrooms so the price was reasonable compared to getting 2 separate hotel rooms elsewhere, and the kitchen facilities meant we could eat in sometimes. In terms of location we were close to the beach and cafes/restaurants and could catch the bus into town easily. The view was spectacular to wake up to each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful in both French and English. There was a washing machine and clothes rack in the room which was really helpful for a beach holiday. Our only disappointment was skipping the buffet breakfast as it was crazily priced. But given we could self-cater and eat out easily we still had a wonderful stay.

Close to Beach and helpful”
Close to the beach with nice staff. Very good english and there were 2 ladies that were very helpful. They gave us towels for a day trip to Escapede island which was nice of them. Very comfy bed, ocean views and clean. Restaurants close by are expensive however so were most places to eat in Noumea. Would stay here again.

Great location but facilities need updating”
Hilton Noumea is located at a wonderful location but its facilities very dated and need updating. Our stay was plagued with numerous issues: 1. There were construction happening upstairs and the front desk though they would finish at the end of our first-night stay. It did not. It went on for another 2 days and sporadically for the balance of our stay. The front desk gave us a choice to move to other apartments on the second day, but we rejected it thinking it would end soon and these other alternatives were not as nice. 2. The air condition units in the lounge and in the master bedroom did not work. 3. The hot water unit broke down on the third day. It stayed broken for the next two days and was later fixed on the sixth day. 4. The cleaning crew cleans well, but always forget something like rubbish bags for the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay there because of the location and the wonderful friendly staff. But we hated the facilities.

Probably excellent 20 years ago - not now though”
We divided our trip into two stays in Noumea, with one trip in between the Ile Des Pins. We stayed in Hilton on the way back. Don't get me wrong. The hotel is good, the room is enormous and the location is great. However, it seems a little bit old and weary already, the sheets and pillows sitting in the wardrobe were full of mold (smell, wife and I coughing a lot - and now, I am not allergic to it), lack of paint in the room and some old furniture. The front desk staff were very friendly nonetheless, specially the two japanese ladies. Thank you! But you can get much better options for the value, with direct access to the beach in a resort-like hotel, and much more modern. The one we stayed before even had the taxi-boat to the Canard Island stopping to pick-up guests. To all our fellow travelers I'd recommend those sorts of hotels in Noumea for better stay.

Sad”
Staff are fantastic location fantastic rooms very tired air conditioning poor in a lot of rooms , they are very aware of this yet they still let the rooms . I would expect better from a Hilton establishment it need a complete refurbishment. Do not expect a full equipped kitchen we had two pans no tea spoons only large knife was for cutting bread .

Location and comfort”
We had a great stay here. Our self-contained, one bedroom unit was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great bed, good choice of pillows. The complex itself was connected to good restaurants and services. Dining at the onsite restaurant was a pleasure. The location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to other beaches. Easy access to the city via well priced bus services. We loved it, and will be back next year.
