Acceptable”
not recommended for older folks especially if you have walking problem and back pain. My husband just had a hip replacement and we were staying on top of the hill that you have to climb up and worst of it no no transformer available during brown out. No flashlight was offered and for emergency situation its really hard to go down from hilltop to first floor. we were given a candle which i think is more dangerous for fire. also,i was asked by mr.Art to make a deposit well in fact, when I booked this place Agoda said we will pay cash upon arrival. its very disappointing between agoda and hiwang agreement on their mode of payment. we check out after a day and we were asked to pay agent fee .

Lower your expectations”
If you are looking for a place with a great view and one of a kind in this area then I recommend staying in Hiwang Native Village. Staff and owner were pleasant. They helped us book a Batad tour. I was expecting to chat with the person they talk about on blogs to know more about the village but aside from welcoming us and bringing us the amenities, that's the only interaction we had with them. Booking, payment and guest service though needs improvement. We booked for 4 but we were only given towels and soaps for three. Do bring a lot of repellents for a pleasant night.

A short but good stay”
The Scenery was good, the Native Houses are fine, fresh air, good view in a very high location.. it’s just that there’s some insects that may come inside your Native House, haha but it’s expected as you are staying in a Native house. The money is worth it, the care taker are very accommodating, food are good too. Enjoy your stay!

Great view”
It feels great to be able to experience staying in a native Ifugao hut. The place has very good views of the rice terraces, so you have a pituresque view for the whole duration of your stay, perfect for picture taking. No need to stop by other view decks in Banaue. The place is very cozy and relaxing. You can request for a bonfire at a minimal charge, which is really useful at night when the temp is chilling. The inside of the hut provides just enough warmth for you to have a good night sleep. Although if you are travelling with an elderly who has difficulty climbing stairs or walking inclined paths, going to the huts may be a challenge for them (I suggest you request to be put in the nearest/lowest location). The location was quite far from the town proper, but we didn't mind since we brought all our food with us. It is for those who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life.
