I stayed at the Hoa Dao Hotel on a bike tour. The hotel was a great place to stay because I did not want to have to ride into town. It was VERY comfortable. All modern comforts. Breakfast is limited to noodles or fried eggs -- fine if you are not expecting a breakfast buffet. Staff was very helpful.

Nice Hotel, friendly and helpful staff”
We stayed two nights in the VIP room and it was big, clean and quiet. Overall a very nice room for the money. For breakfast one can choose between egg and bread and noodle soop. The receptionists were very helpful and borrowed us bicyles so we cood ride through the city and to the hydroelectrical dam. Further they helped us catch the local bus to Mai Chau. We recommend the hotel and visiting the city since the inhabitants are very friendly and we never saw any other tourists which is very nice after Hanoi.

Shorter than planned”
On arrival we were informed we would be getting a twin room, rather than the double we booked. This was because the previous guest wanted to stay longer! We then asked to rent a vehicle (as the description states they do), but they were unable to either rent us a vehicle or arrange it. Although the description states English is spoken, do not expect this from the staff either on the desk or anywhere in the hotel. All in all a very disappointing stay, resulting in us moving on a lot sooner than we planned.

This hotel belongs to Sakura Hotel. So, we had to go to the Sakura Hotel for receptionist and check-in. The soundproofing of the room is not so good.

Tolle Zimmereinrichtung”
Die VIP Zimmer (Zimmer mit ungeraden Nummer) sind sehr empfehlenswert, mit Balkon und blick auf die Berge. Die Einrichtung entspricht einem 4-Sterne Hotel: Grosses Badezimmer mit seperatem WC und Duschkabine, Jakuzzi-Badewanne. Timmer mit Teppich, Bürotisch, zwei Seesel mit Beistelltiesch, Flachbildschirm und hervorragender Klimaanlage wie in einem 4-Sterne Hotel. Unweit vom Hotel gibt es einen Supermarkt. 400m weiter ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant: Nha Hang An Ngon und ein modernes Cafe mit Kuchen und Brot. Leider wird gleich neben dem Hotel ein Hochhaus gebaucht, Baulätm um 5.30 Uhr. Besser ein Zimmer mit geraden Nummer wählen. Frühstück: Nudelsuppe oder Broz mit Ei.

Prima hotel voor een prima prijs. Hier en daar mag er wat onderhoud gepleegd worden. Heerlijk grote badkamer en rustige kamer. Ontbijt ook niet slecht. Dat hebben we minder gehad op onze reis.
