A great place to stay”
Sun Lake Homestay wasn't the most expensive place we stayed at in Vietnam, but it was probably the best. Ms. Pham Le and her family were delightful and made us feel very welcome indeed. The breakfasts were generous and the banana cake was delicious! Hoi An old town is a 10 minute bike ride away and bikes are supplied free.

It can be a little far (2-3km) from Hoi An Old Quarters, but quiet and beautiful (a small lake in the front). The room is quite spacious for my family, the staff is friendly. Recommended if you don't want to be in the crowded and noisy downtown.

We stayed at Sun Lake for four nights. The room was overall clean and a good size. Flower and the staff were kind and helpful. It is a bit away from the centre of Hoi An but it was a 15-20 minute bike ride. You can rent a bicycle for free or a motorbike for a cost. We booked a room that did not include breakfast and found that it was a little overpriced compared to the rest of the city but it was convenient. Overall would recommend

Beautiful hotel, amazing helpful staff !”
Amazing value for money and the location is great, you get a free bike and can ride down to the beach and night markets, rooms are beautiful we stayed in a private double room with a bath and by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! The staff made the whole experience they where so helpful and very friendly, the helped us so much! We booked trips with them, they helped us book flights to Bangkok and even took us to the airport, and invited us for dinner on a last night was great couldn't fault them or the hotel at all, loved it would definelty recommend staying at this hotel ❤️ Thankyou so much for all your help and your hospitality.

A great place with amazing staff!”
This place is located about 10 mins by bike from the old town so it's a bit quieter than the tourist areas. Although the owners didn't speak much English, Yumi (the receptionist) was over-the-top amazing. She made me a special vegetarian breakfast every morning (even cooking me a lavish lunch on my last day!), arranged tours, transportation, and laundry services. I was volunteering for a month at a local shelter and she drove me by motorbike quite a few times, and was overall just super friendly! The place itself was decent value for money, especially since I stayed next to the 2nd floor balcony, which was a perfect place to get some work done. The room was a good size and had large windows, a fridge, and a TV. The only downside is the sound really echoes through the halls here, especially if there's local Vietnamese families staying since they tend to be super loud, so bring earplugs. I would stay here again for sure.

Poor service”
I booked 2 nights but the staff told me that the room have a problem about water system. I guessed that my room was booked by others so I proposed to see the room but they declined and then they moved us to another guesthouse which have low facilities and no explanation. After that I complained this problems to the manager and She offered a lower price for the change. I think that the staff is dishonest.

The staff at sunlake are very friendly and kind. The owner cooked us dinner one night and she speaks good English. Not close to town but if you like to walk easy walking distance or they have free bicycle hire for you. In between the old town and beach. Our bed was very hard and did not get the room we thought we booked as the pics they use are old, but overall decent stay!

It was going so well until..”
The stay was really nice, the rooms are clean but obvious signs of mould and crack and dirt etc ensure the 2 star rating. The people were so nice UNTIL they MOVED ALL OF OUR THINGS to ANOTHER ROOM whilst we were OUT. No warning, didn’t ask us, just came back to find a locked door and when we asked about our key the man became aggressive to someone on the phone and gave us another room key to which we found our things were now in that room. Her reason was, “another guest turned up to check in and wanted our room specifically so they moved our things to accommodate” Words can’t describe how disrespected we felt and disappointed.

Cách phố cổ Hội An gần 2km nên đi lại hơi xa một chút nhưng bù lại khách sạn sạch sẽ, phòng đẹp, rộng, thoáng và tiện nghi. Chủ nhà và nhân viên đều rất thân thiện, lúc nào cũng quan tâm đến khách. Cảm thấy rất rất thích con người Hội An. Sẽ còn quay lại ❤️❤️❤️
