Located only a 5-minute walk from Lake Toya, Hokkai Hotel offers an outdoor and an indoor hot-spring bath, a rooftop orchid greenhouse and free WiFi at the lobby. It houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Free parking is available. Japanese-style rooms are decorated with Japanese ornaments, and feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and a low table with seating cushions. Guests sleep in traditional futon bedding, and a coffee table and chairs are set by a floor-to-ceiling window. Facilities include a flat-screen TV, a fridge and a private bathroom. Guests at the Hokkai can relax in an outdoor or indoor public hot-spring bath, which are separate by gender. The hotel offers laundry service and room service. Hotel Hokkai specializes in seafood dishes and local vegetables. Dinner and a breakfast meal or buffet are served at the dining room, which features Japanese as well as Western seating. Hokkai Hotel is a 15-minute bus ride from JR Toya Station. Sapporo and New Chitose Airport are each a 2-hour drive away.

The room is spacious and clean. Nice view of Lake Toya from the room. The Onsen is good with long opening hours. Minor issue is the internet connection in the room is very weak (or non-existent).

View of lake Toya and Mt Yotei right outside the window was amazing. Breakfast variety was good and delicious. Meals are served at the restaurant. From our room, we could look into the male outdoor bath. Staff was helpful.

Good Location, Clean & Spacious Room, Value for money”

We arrived late at the hotel to check in, and the reception staffs was very friendly and helpful, he even sent us to the lift and also explain to us the location of the hotel's hot spring. The room is spacious and clean, with attached bathroom and also view to see Lake Toya. Would definitely consider this hotel for my next trip to Lake Toya.

Location is good although it is not at the center of the lake but the view is beautiful.It is value for money one of the cheapest hotel in lake toya that faces the lake.

Good view of the lake”

Beautiful room view of lake toya. Room was huge and very clean. Hot spa/spring could be better maintained. Overall good and value for money stay at lake toya if you dont mind walking a distance to the bus terminal or if you drive it would good too!

洞爺の温泉街よりちょっと遠い,バス停から歩いて7分くらい、花火も外に出て見た方がいい。露天温泉もあって、隣は公園ですが静かでいいです。この価額では良かったと思います。

一人旅だが部屋は広い和室で寛げた。部屋からの洞爺湖の眺めは素晴らしく、朝も涼しかった。共同浴場はとても良い温泉で夜、朝と利用した。このお風呂に入るためならまた宿泊したい。

不錯的酒店”

風景很好的酒店！ 雖然酒店位於洞爺湖最靠邊的地方 但是在露台還是可以欣賞到洞爺湖的風景 是很消楚很清楚一大片的湖景！ 酒店比較舊 衛生清況有點。。。 一進浴室已經看到有頭髮 （地上和浴缸） 不過都只有一兩條 而主要洗澡的地方是在大浴場 所以就裝沒看見就好了( ¯ ¨̯ ¯̥̥ ) 露天風呂的體驗不錯 晚上涼涼的 一邊吹著微風 一邊泡溫泉 感覺很舒服 而我去的那晚整個女湯都被我承包了！（真的人流不多！） 男朋友說男湯還是有人的～ 房間很日式！ 整體來說還是滿意的！這個價位能有這樣的風景已經很好了！
