After numerous attempts at heating. Staff came. Said was set to high. Put on lower. Left. Said. Some don’t work so poetaohearters. But main system. Broken. Very lould. Portable. Burnt out. Smell burning. Broken. Asked for replacement. Nothing. Freezing cold

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express. Leigh Sports Village Friday to Sunday for Daughters wedding nearby. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the bed was very comfortable giving a great nights sleep and included a lovely buffet breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

Good location and bonus that breakfast was included. However, the temperature in the room was unbearable the air con didn't work, rang the reception who confirmed that it had been reported not working yet still let us use the room in one of the hottest days of the year. They offered us to move rooms but my children had managed to fall asleep for a few hours by this point. I got zilch sleep which defeats the object of us staying there, I slept on the floor next to the window. We will never return or recommend this hotel.

Entering into Google - Holiday Inn Leigh Sports Village linked me to a website NOT owned by Holiday Inn, they have their own website totally separate. The one I got directed to ( gives no indication that it isn't the Holiday Inn but an outside agency ) is total rubbish.... booked us in for 1 day instead of two and not even the dates I selected..... BEWARE......

I went down to breakfast and it was packed with runners meeting for an event. I waited an hour and couldn’t find a seat. There were people stood eating their breakfast. I was told half the people there having breakfast were not staying there they just walked in and helped themselves. Little or not good left and as soon as it was replaced it was gone.
