Hotel in excellent location to get any where around London from Stratford station. Westfield Shopping Centre on the doorstep is a bonus plenty of shops and restaurants available. The hotel is very clean, good facilities, and all staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying there when travelling to London,

The staff was excellent. They did all they could to accommodate us with an early check-in. Very nice and hospitable. Location is GREAT! Right on the Stratford line. Shopping galore! Although the workout room could accommodate the cardio, the Gymbox is a minute away if you need heavy/free weights. Thank you for making this a great stay!

A night at the theatre”
We had an enjoyable stay in a top-floor room with views of the Olympic Park, which despite now resembling a building site in places is still an impressive view from such an elevated position. Transport links for both public transport and by road are good (parking is currently discounted to only £5 per 24hr in the adjoining Stratford Centre car park). There is a wide selection of international shops and restaurants within the Stratford Centre and as a result we did not eat at the hotel, although as a Priority Club Gold member I was given a voucher for a free drink in the bar on the 3rd floor which has a terrace overlooking the Olympic Park should you not be as lucky as us and have this view from your room. The hotel itself is a typical modern Holiday Inn establishment, offering comfortable accommodation of a decent standard with the Stratford hotel being better than an average HI, or other 3*, hotel (largely due to Stratford being a relatively new hotel). The one thing which disappointed me on this particular trip was the failure to oblige my request for a complimentary upgrade to an Executive room; I am often offered this on 1-night says in other HI hotels within London when I frankly do not care either way and yet on this occasion I found the rather rude response that I could upgrade to one of several 'available' Executive rooms to be rather disappointing on what was a romantic night away with my wife. While I appreciate that this was a request to which I am not automatically entitled having not yet attained Platinum status, I found the poor customer service disappointing in light of the available rooms and the ordinarily accommodating attitude of other branches of HI. Overall I would recommend HI Stratford as my ratings make clear, and would stay here again for business/pleasure in central London (tube journey on the Central line to Bank is 10 mins, West End 15mins).

It was wonderful. Staff was very accommodating and addressed all our needs even beyond the call of duty. The place although far from central london was steps away from the train which made it very easy to move around. great shops and restaurants all around. Breakfast selections were good and satisfying. Price was reasonable. I would definitely think about booking there again next time i'm in london

Nice brand new hotel with easy access into London - I was going to the O2 so only 3 stops away on the tube. Easy check in, friendly staff, breakfast was good. Needs better signposting in the shopping centre to direct you to the hotel

Good location for shopping & transportation, quiet & clean room with free wifi. "but some mistake done between Agoda.com and Holiday Inn of the booking regarding the breakfast including or not. Maybe human error or the system. Anyway already it done but still not very happy doing morning breakfast" . Other than that the good & great service by all the hotel staff.

the hotel is just next to the westfield shopping mall, which is super convenient. the tube station is not far away, just about 10 min walk from the hotel and you can definitely go through the shopping mall. there are lots of food courts and restaurants. this is really a good, new and clean hotel. the room is not very big, but quite suitable for solo travelers

I found the hotel adequate for my needs nothing too fancy simple but effective room was of a decent size very new and very clean. The location was fantastic for shopping just walk downstairs and all the shops are there! Will be going again soon to do some more shopping
