We stayed in Dorm so nothing much to say. Equipment in-room is good (you have to ask for towels). They have bike rental service with good quality of bike. Staffs are nice and helpful. They let us stay for free 4 hours to wait for our night bus. Recommend.

The dorm was perfect; very comfortable and clean. But as for the Ha giang loop, we tried to sort out renting a bike which was difficult as only one staff member spoke English (which is usually not a problem for us) but he was often not at the hostel which made it very difficult for us to communicate issues with our bike we had rented plus, asking about info on the route was impossible. So we ended up going to another hostel to get what we needed in terms of info.

Super good place if you want to do the motor bike trail”
We booked this place for one night only - arriving in the middle of the night by bus and leaving for motor cylce tour the next morning. The staff welcomed us very nicely, the room was very clean and comfortable and the next morning they were great in helping us rent a motorcycle with them. We could leave our bags at the hostel which was great.

Booked a private room, was unavailable when we arrived”
We booked this as our first stop after the night bus from Hanoi. We contacted them in advance to let them know the time we would arrive (after midnight) and all was confirmed to be OK. On arrival we were told that the private room was no longer available and put into a shared dormitory. Not what we was hoping for being tired after a long journey. No apology was given and we were made to feel like an inconvenience. For fairness, the dormitory was modern and clean.

Hong Hao is such a good hostel! The beds are for 2 persons, so if you want you can share the bed with a friend (it’s cheaper), but if you want a bed for your own it’s still very cheap and you have a really big bed! I loved how clean the place was and everything was very well organized. We started the Ha Giang loop from Hong Hao and we rented scooters at the hostel, which was really easy to do. My friend crashed her bike during the loop, but the staff at the hostel was so helpful which made the whole experience 10.000 times easier. I do recommend staying here and renting your bike here, because it’s the same price as all the other bike rentals in town. Loved every second of my stay here

We stayed here before and after the ha Giang loop! And it was perfect, the beds we comfy maybe one of the best hostels we have been in. Shower and toilets were clean. We also rented bikes from here and they were perfect.

It’s a comfortable stay near to town”
The hostel location in Ha Giang totally awesome. They have a lot of tour options and have a great condition for the bikes. The cost is higher but you get a really new bike. We couldn’t go for Ha Giang loop so we took a day city tour. It was awesome, our guide was really great. They helped us to book bus and tour and we can even pay by card. Hassle free and had a really comfortable stay. Shared bathroom cleanliness however need to be improved 😊

THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT GUESTS !”
Many of these good reviews we can understand in terms of cleanliness of the room and the location. However, we unfortunately had to collect many negative experiences. The motorcycles were in good condition. Unfortunately, we were charged at the beginning 100,000 dong per motorcycle for fuel, which was not available in the motorcycles. In addition, the motorcycles should be returned fully fueled, which was not communicated at the beginning and we had not done so. Thus, we should pay additional money and were called liars when we claimed the motorcycles were not fully fueled at the beginning. This is definitely not the way to treat your guests! When we left, we booked a VIP bus back to Hanoi, which should pick us up at the hostel and bring us to the "City Center" to our hotel. However, we were then dropped 45 (!!!) minutes outside of Hanoi and were allowed to pay apart from the bus price another 150,000 dong for a cab. This is absolute unacceptable. We would not go to this hostel again because of the insolence of the staff to treat us as guests and to sell us the bullshit that the bus would drop us off directly at our hotel in Hanoi. We were very disappointed with the service and friendliness of the staff. We felt as tourists simply exploited and ripped off!

두 번째 방문”
지난번 더블룸에 이어 이번엔 방이 없어 6인실을 이용했는데 생각보다 답답하지 않고 깨끗하게 관리되어 있어서 좋았다. 예쁜 고양이도 있어서 더 좋았던 것 같다.
