Wonderful stay!!!”
The hotel located in a quiet alley which is a bit difficult to find by yourself if you don't know how the address in Hue works but with a taxi driver is easy. We were mistaken the first one (Thanh An) with theirs (Thanh An 2) but the host in Thanh An was so nice, he even called to the Thanh An 2 so their host can come and together they gave us a ride back to the right one. Our flight was delayed so we arrived a bit late. We booked a standard room but they upgraded us to a larger room without any extra fee. We planned to stay one night only but decided to stay for one more night after a quick lunch so they still let us stay at the same room without any extra fee (once again) and booked the afternoon tour in the very last minute for us. However, it was last minute so no tickets left. Thought that was a bad luck but the owners offered to drop us off at the Citadel (Đại Nội), then a truly local tour with them after that to Thien Mu pagoda and Voire temple on their motorcycles. They kept telling us that they have time and glad to take us around the city with just a small stipend for the whole trip (30.000 VND/pax). We were amazed by their kindness and friendliness. We definitely will come back next time we visit Hue. Totally outstanding for their services with just 1 star rated!!!

Amazing time there in Hue with super clean and cosy place in Thanh An 2! Good location (10 min walk to Citadel and Imperial city), really cheap sightseeing tour offers from hotel and cheap bus transportation to the next destination! Nice and quick washing services, good price scooter rent, smilling and helpful family, who speaks decent English. Yes, small bathroom, but as long as it's clean and the room is spacious we didn't care :) Would definitely go back!

Clean and Cheap”
Super clean enviroment and very cheap hotel at walking distance from the Citadel, there is no breakfast at the hotel, but there is many street vendors in the area. Everything in Hue is even cheaper than other cities in Vietnam. The hotel can help you with tours, booking a bus for your next destination and with your laundry for a very fair price.

Good value fr the money”
I had a standard double room for two weeks. I could not find the location. I was able to find Than An 1. They called Than An 2. An employee arrived there and took me on a motorcycle to Than An 2. The location is on a quiet street easy to find once you know where it is. I had a shared bathroom with one or two other rooms. Warm water for showers. Two supermarkets about a 20 minute walk. Room only cleaned once that I know of. TV remote did not work. Manual channel changer only worked part of the time. Older TV. Room had both fan and air conditioning which I liked. And most important to me the price was right. Staff friendly and helpful. I will probably return here if I return to Hue again.

Lovely and friendly couple Nhat and his wife run the hostel, with great services, clean room and neat bathroom. Nhat provided very detail information about the local tour, shops, foods, and assistance for bus ticket and bike renting. moreover, i left my driver's license at the counter after I left the hostel and got on the bus to Danang, then Nhat sent it to the hostel I stayed on the next day! What a big favor he gave to me. thanks Nhat!

The room was big with a/c, the WiFi strong. Everything was clean. The location is good, in a quiet area but close to the purple city (walking distance). The staff so friendly. The guy in reception even helped us with the motorbike (he fixed something we were talking before while we were out, what a nice surprise!).

Excellent”
We didn't find the number 2 right away but we found the number 3. They are all connected and they walked us to the number 2. Everybody is super nice and our room was ok. It's a bit noisy in the morning but that's just the city... nothing we could do about it! The hotel is well located, not too far from the main attractions. We also rented a motorbike there for only 100.000 dong and we went until Danang and came back the same day. It was a long ride and we had no problems at all. The host was very nice.

Amazing value”
Despite 'just' a guesthouse, they provided almost everything that you need. Free WiFi, towel, snacks, coffee and most importantly, the friendly hospitality of the owner's family. Theyre always accommodating to any help/request that we had. For the price, this has definitely exceeded our expectations. They sleep late to open doors for us late owls, and wake up early to attend to any of our requests (bus booking). No sign of any frustration, but would smile and greet you in the morning. Will definitely be back again.

Adorable room, AMAZING value!!!”
This room couldn't get any better for the price you pay, which is the cheapest we have seen in Southeast Asia! We stayed in a standard room, really charming and cozy, with a super comfortable bed, perfectly working air-con, and a huge roof terrace/balcony attached to our room. Our bathroom was in the hall, shared with another room, but we had no problem with this at all. Everything was very clean, the family working here was really nice as well. Location is good as well, within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and tourist sites. We would definitely recommend this place!

One of the best guesthouses we had!”
You get a lot for the money, so that we highly recommend the stay in this guesthouse. The owners are very friendly and helpful - the cute little girl gives you one banana after the other :-). The rooms are comfortable and very clean and even have toiletries.

I got address of many awesome vendors from Thanh An's staff. Moreover, the room is small, but with that price you can rent anywhere else bigger. Anw, the room enough for us, we all feel comfortable.

Staff Is so friendly, they brought me a cake in my bedroom for my birthday. They really surprised me. Furthermore they can arrange cheap boat trip for you. Free bananas at the guesthouse. I définitely recommend it

Good price for private single room ($5). Room had large balcony. Shower on fourth floor had almost no water pressure, hardly usable. Pretty basic, bare bones accommodation but for the price can't really complain. 25,000 Dong/kg for laundry

we got to this place and inmediatly the staff helped us with everything. the room was big enough for us and with very good WiFi. they also offer tea, coffee, water and bananas for free. we needed to buy a bus ticket and they got their motorbike and they went to buy it for us without any extra charge. as advice try to know a little bit of vietnamit because sometimes is a little bit dificult to understand each other. I would choose this place again for sure

A highlight for us.”
The room itself was not amazing, but did the job. The family that runs this place is so sweet and has the cutest daughter. The free coffee, tea, bananas and candy were a real perk. Close to some great local restaurants and not far from some of the top Western nights. We booked one night, stayed 4, and I would totally come back.

Good for backpackers”
My (single) room ((401) is spacious but a little dusty on floor. (Thank god not the bedding.) I stayed 2 nights in the same room. No problem as you get what you pay for. The only problem is that on the second night of my stay, the common bathroom adjacent to my room had a weak weak water pressure. I ended up walk downstairs to use another one - far better ! As long as the toilets and shower place is clean, what else can you expect for a price like that. The place is quiet and there are many cheap and good places to eat and drink a cup of coffee.

Warmest guest house ever”
We had a great time. The owner gave us free fruit and coffee, even laundry service is free. He was so nice that he took us out to by seafood in the market nearby and let us use the guesthouse kitchen to cook our own dinner. We was treated as friends and I absolutely will come back.
