Great location and value for money”
We had a great stay here! The rooms were clean and tidy, and the windows could be opened for fresh air. The location was perfect- so close to La Rambla, making visiting all the main sights in Barcelona easy. Despite being close to La Rambla, there was virtually no street noise even with the window open! Staff were friendly and the use of a safe deposit box was useful. Would recommend Hostal Òperarambles to anyone looking for value for money in a great location.

Best hostel stayed!”
I travelled many places and stayed in aplenty hostels. This is one of the best. I had a single room to myself, it was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was done everyday, toiletries and towels replenished. the bed was everything. it was comfortable, the sheets and pillow were sooo comfortable. temperature was also self - controlled. there's lift in the hostel so no issue with my luggages. Liceu station was literally at the station along La Rambla. It was so convenient. When my friend checked out and I was to move to another room, staff allowed me to keep my room, perhaps because it was a low weekday season. All in All, i'll stay myself again. It was excellent!

Best hotel in Barcelona!”
I’ve stayed here a few times and every time it never fails! I stayed in about another ten places in Barcelona and this is my fave! It’s basic but clean, fresh and modern. The rooms and bathroom are a good size, and the bathroom is extremely modern with a double shower head. The staff are lovely and are very accommodating. The location is perfect for wanting to explore the whole city. The only thing I’d say is maybe full length mirrors in the room, and also a water filter to fill your bottles as they make a point of being eco friendly (which I love btw!). Will defo be back!

Perfect location and great value for money ”
I booked this purely based on price and location and was pleasantly surprised. It's the poshest hostel I've ever seen, we had a double private room and bathroom which was modern and spotless with a comfy bed. The receptionist was pleasant and I was able to use the computer and printer for free to print out COVID test results out. We didn't use the kitchen facilities so I can't comment on that as we ate out. The location is literally in the middle of La Rambla just a few metres down a side street, yet still nice and quiet at night. Would definitely stay again 🙂

Value for Money”
The location is just a few metres from the Liceu station. It's about a 5-10 minutes walk to the shopping belt. It felt more like a hotel than a hostal. The rooms were clean and nice. There's no kettle or toiletries so bring your own. However, there's a hot water dispenser at the cafe near the reception. Very value for money!

Exceptional”
Hostal Operaramblas was pretty ideal. It is in a great location down a small street off La Rambla. The price was excellent for a large room with a queen bed, single bed, and a balcony. The checkout time was 11am but the front desk provided us with a locked storage space to keep our luggage while we spent the remainder of the day in Barcelona. The only downfalls: the street was slightly noisy in the morning (with some lady singing at the top of her lungs each morning promptly at 9:30am), and there was a slight issue with the shower drain. It was not clogged, but seemed like the plumbing could not handle a lot of showers in the morning. One morning I got out of the stand up shower to realize half of our room was flooded. We cleaned it up with towels and the front desk provided us with new ones. Overall, great stay for the cost!

Easy decision”
Hostal Operaramblas is a no brainer: location, location, location. It is steps away from the Metro stop off of Las Ramblas. Minutes from everywhere you're looking to go in Barcelona. It is modern and perfectly clean. Our room was quiet every night, and staff were helpful with travel questions. If you're looking to not drop unnecessary money for a room in a chain hotel you'll barely be in, there is no need to look anywhere else. It's a steal. Only "small" cons? No iron in your room and beds are mildly thin (didn't stop us from sleeping like bricks, though). When a room is clean, I'm happy.

Cozy little hotel”
Hostal Operaramblas is only 2minutes walk away from Liceu metro station. Also walkable distance to other nearby metro stations. And located right along the La Rambla. The street gets extremely crowded during the night, but it is still consider safe when walking back to the hotel. The room is nice, cozy, and clean. Definitely will come back here again if I were to have the chance to be back in Barcelona :)

Operaramblas is a very nice hostal, well located near to Liceu metro and Ramblas, very easy to reach by metro. They should consider improve the pillows and add some extra mirror in the room (for the ladies!). Small but cozy room. Excellent shower!

Visit to Barcelona, La Ramblas”
I went to Barcelona for a three day stay and stayed at Hostal Operamablas. It is in a great location, off the la ramblas. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The hostal was very clean and they offered towels and soap products. The room was spacious and had a balcony. I would definitely stay here. All the reviews are true, this is great place to stay.

Perfect if you're looking to be right on Las Ramblas”
The property surpassed the standards of a regular hostel--the room & en suite bathroom were huge, comfortable, bright, modern, was cleaned on a daily basis, and had the added bonus of smelling great. Staff was helpful and very pleasant, so there's really no complaints as far as the property was concerned, except that maybe a full length mirror in the room would've been great. Having said this, our only "problem" with the property was that it was RIGHT ON TOP of the BUSY tourist action of Las Ramblas. Now if this is what you've come to Barcelona for--touristy areas, busy streets, shops and restaurants left and right--then this hotel will be absolutely perfect. It wasn't exactly the case for us, and we perhaps would've liked to stay a few blocks further away from the action. MRT was just outside the property and a lot of the attractions/neighborhoods were very walkable, so again, no real complaints here, but don't expect quiet/relaxing surroundings.

Great hotel in La Rambla”
The hotel location is a 2-min walk from Liceu metro station which makes travelling to all the tourist destinations very convenient. Going to Aerobus bus station in Plaza Catalunya is just a 4-6min walk from the hotel. Hotel room facilities are basic but adequate and fully functional, clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Our stay did not include breakfast but there are a lot of cafés that open early along La Rambla so having an early meal before our tours for the day was no problem. All in all a very good stay in Barcelona!

Very good”
the hostal is very clean and excellent. the room size is a bit small but it is excellent and if you see a balcony with the room put your expectations that it is like a big window with a door and a very small space as i was expecting a balcony and got disappointed. the location is excellent in the middle of Rambla street and lot of restaurants and amenities around. the staff are good and helpful and the hostal is very clean and neat and it is better than some hotels 3 stars around. the room is renovated, the bathroom is spacious and clean. there is a safebox, AC but there is no fridge in the room. all in all, it is an excellent hostal. if i go to Barcelona again, i will use this facility again.

Good value for money”
Stayed here during our visit to Barcelona. The room was small but adequate for what we needed it for. Room was clean and tidy. Perfect location for Las Ramblas. Staff also helpful and friendly. However there was only 1 plug socket in the room its self which was inconvenient and there wasn't a mirror in the room only in the bathroom. Not good when 2 girls getting ready!.

Nice hote ”
It’s called Hostal but it’s a hotel. It looks recently refurbished, just a minutes walk to Liceu metro and Las Ramblas. Only down thing is it would be nice to have kettles and mug facilities in the rooms (although they had a communal kettle in the lounge area downstairs which was useful) I wouldn’t mind staying here again but would prefer a double bed. We had two single beds pushed together to make a double... which meant it kept moving. Overall it was lovely hotel and definitely clean! My main priority is cleanliness at a hotel and that ticked the box!

Great spot just off La Ramblas”
In terms of walking, it's fantastic as you are right beside Liceu station, and walking distance to the markets, La Ramblas and the beach. A little noisy at night as you are so close, but we got used to it quickly. The balcony isn't a really balcony, just a small ledge, but being able to open the window was wonderful, and made you feel like part of the action on the street below. New air conditioning was being installed when we got there and wasn't functional until the end of our stay, so the window stayed open a lot. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly in multiple languages. Great place for the price. 8/10
