Staying inside UNESCO World Heritage site”
This hostel is located inside Mangalem quarter, Old town of Berat which is UNESCO World Heritage site. Very close to bus stop from and to Bus terminal. It's managed by 3 generations family and they're all so sweet! Grandmother doesn't speak English very well, but she prepares breakfast and clean the hostel. Breakfast is really good with bread, salad (cucumber, tomato, cheese), boiled egg and Turkish coffee. You should definitely try her breakfast! Bed is very comfortable and room is very clean. Host Genta and her very pretty daughter speaks very good English and I enjoyed talking with them a lot! You'll be welcomed like their family member. It's nice experience to stay in this unique architecture site. I love staying here very much!

One of best hostels in the Balkans, hands down. If you stay here you'll agree! I had a fantastic time at this lovely hostel and stayed another day due to the great atmosphere here. Bertie was a fantastic hostel manager, made all guests feel welcome and even helped me when my car was damaged by another car. The dorm was spacious, the common area comfortable for meeting others and the breakfast was great.

The host are very nice and friendly, it likes living in a local's house, rather than in hostel, it is very comfortable and make you feel warm. And the hostel location is very good, easy to walk to everywhere. I hope to get a chance to come again ;)
