"Best hostel in London I’ve ever stayed! Perfect for a solo travellers, really social and great vibes all round, incredible staff (particular shout out to Jansen and Isaac), day activities and events in the evening are really fun and great way to meet people, fully equipped kitchen for those that like to cook, free dinner every evening is definitely a bonus, incredible location being right next to Hyde Park and close to two train stations. If you’re backpacking through London there’s not better place to stay! "

Smart Hyde Park View Hostel

"This was one of the coolest areas I have stayed at in l Neon and the hostel was just lovely. It's crowded and full of so many different people, with kids on holidays from schools all over the EU to college students to adults. It is a lively fun place that is very respectful of your space and stuff, even though it's noisy at times. You can get onto the tube at queensway or Bayswater or paddington trains right from heathrow, it's so convenient by north west area of Hyde park. The only strange thing is there are a lot of homes less or wayward U.K. Males or even a few Eastern European single males that are loud, rude and kind of scary when they dominate your room. Overall this is a frat place, the staff is so fun and helpful, and I just loved staying there even though I can afford a hotel! "

Urbany Hostel London

"The hostel is within 8 min walk to Bayswater underground station (Circle/District lines). Got a lot of Asian restaurants within 10 min walk. Quiet area. Big room (4-bed room). Each bed has two plug next to it. Locker provided (padlock available for sale). The room had one sink. Shared toilet/shower outside the room. Clean and cozy lounge/common room, kitchen, dining room. Free Storage room available for guests. Free vegetarian dinner every nights. The room only had 1 lamp, my feedback to staffs was to install a wall lamp next to each bed for the convenience of each guest and for the good rest of other guest."

"all the paintings in the hostel is really beautiful and I really appreciate those artwork, however the ventilation of the hostel isn't that good so the paint smell keeps staying in the corridors and makes the place not as nice as it looks. The bathroom and toilet is clean. There aren't enough plugs for everyone in the room. The receptionists are all very nice and really helpful."

Pride of Paddington Hostel
Hyde Park,Hyde Park - View on map
"We spent two nights here. First, the staff are incredible: friendly, warm, welcoming. There was a minor glitch when we arrived, (not the Prides fault,) and it was rectified immediately. The bunk beds are only two instead of three high so less people packed into rooms. You get a cloth bag with clean linen and a towel (!) and you make the bed up yourself. If you spring for the woman's dorm, which I highly suggest, the beds are already made up and there's more space, as well as a desk, chair and mirror in the room. Showers have HOT water! Beds are so-so, but ok for a few nights. Amazing breakfast with great vegetarian options. Very close to Tube, rail and bus lines. We will DEFINITELY be back! Cons: It can be noisy - you're in London, the Pride realises this & offers free earplugs. There's no lift, which isn't a factor for 60 year-old me, but it might be for others. You may have to queue for a (less than powerful) shower, or wander between floors to find a free one, there are several. "
