DG Budget Hotel Salem
Pasay,Pasay - View on map
"The rooms, toilet and bath are very clean, It is 5 minutes away from all 3 philippine international airports in pasay and paranaque city and just across the domestic airport. There is a couple of bars, some restaurants and a massage clinic just outside the guesthouse within the salem complex. It is also 5 minutes away from the resorts world casino/mall and villamor golf course. I am also thankful for the free wifi and will be coming back again. you have to book early as they are usually fully booked"

Manila International Youth Hostel
Pasay,Pasay - View on map
"It's good to stay here if you have an early flight the next day. The airport is only 10 min away by taxi. Many review say this is in a sketchy neighborhood with no food. The hotel is in Pasay City, a very Filipino part of town. Saying it is sketchy or unsafe is like saying the Philippines is sketchy and unsafe. That's just how things are here. The hostel is on a quiet residential street, but I never felt threatened. Like always in the Philippines, carry a flashlight and walk with purpose. If you walk to the main road, there are a ton of restaurants and a busy night market. I actually think this is an interesting part of town worth exploring. Note that there are no sights, but I thought it was fun to walk around."
