Capsule Hotel Anshin Oyado Premier Tokyo Shinjuku Station
Shinjuku,Shinjuku - View on map
"By far, this is the best capsule hotel I stayed while traveling aroung Japan. It's located right next to JR Shinjuku station. There are lots of restaurants, cafés and shops around. It provides you with free breakfast service from 6:30 to 10:00 am (unlimited onigiris and free flowing bevarages throughout the day) Even though it's coffee is from a machine, it's nice, strong and flavourful. They also have lots of amenities: Variety of shampoos, body wash, conditioners, mouthwash, deodorant, hair wax, hair tonic... And they're all included. The only con/inconvenient is that as in every capsule hotel, you keep your luggage in a different area. Other than that, Anshin Oyado Shinjuku is a MUST if you are in Tokyo. 100% recommended."

"Hi Andre, I just wanted to thank you once again for your hospitality during my stay at the hotel Chinzanso. My only regret is that I didn't book my whole trip at your hotel... The following was written up for Agoda travel - I mean every word of it and I promise you, your hotel would be my first recommendation as part of my experience. Working for an airline and within the industries best, I hope I provide that referral of choice to colleagues and friends alike. Topic summary: Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo - I will personally gaurantee you will not regret booking!! 7-Stars Where to start... First and foremost, thank you Andre Sol and the team at Chinzanso hotel - wow! What an experience! Rather than just writing a shpill, here is the reality of experience in bullet points... 1. Gardens of bliss 2. Views, nothing short of breath taking (will upload pics) 3. Room was clean, comforting, blissful, and simply elegant in every way possible 4. For those that have visited Japan before... this hotel is Western friendly and completely understanding of cultural differences 5. A concierge service that will be setting a new industry standard! wow! Man what an experience!! 6. Quality of food, up there with Tokyo's best - with choice for all budgets and tastes! 7. Freak'n unreal everything - please do yourself a favour and book!  Kind staff, courteous, accommodating, considerate, and supportive to your personal travel agenda without bias...  Kindest regards"

Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho
Shinjuku,Shinjuku - View on map
"Great hotel in Shinjuku, really fun area with lots going on. It’s on the backstreets with all the love hotels but this just adds to the atmosphere - but this is a place for western tourists so no worries there. The breakfast was great, lots of variety (western and Japanese) and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are small and the price for them increases a lot at the weekend. That’s the only bad point, but it was a good, safe, clean place to stay"

APA Hotel Shinjuku-Kabukicho Tower
Shinjuku,Shinjuku - View on map
"I always stay in this hotel every time I visit Tokyo for 2 main reasons: 1. Location-wise, this is perfect for getting the best food in Shinjuku. You can also do all the shopping you need in the nearby Donki outlet. The hotel is also a stone's throw away from the Shinjuku Station. 2. Onsen - this hotel comes with an onsen which I use every evening after a long day of exploring the city. Perhaps the only bad thing is that the rooms are really small. It doesn't fit a large-sized couple very well. There are also no laundry machines if you plan to do your laundry here. Highly recommend booking this place if you need a hotel room in the city."

APA Hotel Shinjuku-Gyoemmae
Shinjuku,Shinjuku - View on map
"I was looking for a cheap hotel in Shinjuku area, and really didn't mind if the rooms were small, as long as the place was clean, decent, and had a great location. APA Hotel in Shinjuku-Gyonmae fits the bill to a T. It may have bigger rooms, I don't know, but for solo traveller like me, I was just looking for 1 single room. The room was very small, as expected. But amazingly compact in design and complete. This is Japanese efficiency of putting everything together in such a small space. I had a study table, a mini ref, a hospitality coffee and tea, and a giant flat screen TV (this was the only big thing)! The toilet was also amazingly compact, but well designed to fit everything you would need, including automatic bidet and nice hot shower. The toilet seemed like a pre-fabricated module plug into the room, and was spotlessly clean! As a single traveller, the small space is really just enough for one to move around, but who cares, I just need a place to sleep and shower. And I must say, the bed quality and duvet was superb--super soft, although the pillows were flat (Japanese style?). It also had an aircon so I switched it on so it doesn't get so stuffy. The reading lights and switches are also well located in such a small space. And must I say that the wifi was super fast! The location is also just less than 5 mins. walk to Shinjuku-Gyonmae subway (Maranouchi Line) which connects to Shinjuku main station (2 stops away) where you can connect to so many trains. Around the area is quite New Yorkish (quiet side) with Choco croque, Tully's Cafe, Freshness Burger, Coco Ichibanya, many Family Marts and 7-11's, and a big nice park behind. Very safe and clean neighbourhood. I didn't book for breakfast, as it was easy to eat out. It also has a free sauna and spa at the lower basement in case you want to use. I just took a look. It was a small but very clean. Hotel is quite new, it seems, and actually is a tall hotel, seemingly a business hotel for Japanese businessmen o"
