Extremely spacious room with a good view of Lake Abashiri”
The room was huge. There was even an area where the family could gather and drink tea. Hotel is interesting in that it has a games arcade, kararoke rooms and many banquet rooms. The clientele seems to be large tour groups. But luckily, the hotel was very organised during meal times so we could get our food very quickly for breakfast. A good selection for breakfast. We went for half board and dinner for the 6 of us was in a nice private room while the tour groups had theirs in the banquet rooms. Dinner was kaiseki style with many dishes. The baths were huge and could cater to many people at the same time. Although the hotel is not in town area but we liked it as there was ample parking space and stone's throw from smelt fishing. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

One older staff lady was really nice, but everyone else was apathetic. They ran out of dinner slots and only offered dried cup noodle at the store. The hotel is quite isolated and everything in the area was shut, so we had to resort to that disappointment.

Scenic location by Lake Abashiri, large hot spring”
We had the traditional Japanese rooms which were large and our kids had a blast rolling all over the tatami. There were also 2 twin beds in the room so it's a hybrid traditional Japanese/regular hotel room. The hot spring was large with 3 pools with different temperatures and an outdoor section. My 2 boys aged 7 and 5 had their first hot spring experience here and they absolutely loved it. It's a 5 minute drive to downtown Abashiri where there are more dining options. The included breakfast was good. The staff were very warm and attentive and gave us a send off on our departure waving our country's flags! Although a large hotel, it had a family run feel to it.

The room is big enough, toilet & bathroom is separated which is very convenient. We are taking breakfast & dinner as well, the dinner is superb and variety dishes was served. The hotel is beside the lake and we can view from our room. Onsen in the hotel is very nice as well. We are very satisfied.

Quiet location on a lake”
Beautiful location by a lake, but no restaurants nearby, so it's a car or taxi trip to town. The hotel does have a restaurant, but you have to pre-book and it's not obvious, you have to ask. It's a substantial set menu of traditional Japanese food, but not much choice. Comfortable and very clean, mattress a bit hard for my liking, but very large room and in good condition. Bathroom a little dated, but perfectly functional. Reasonable value. Helpful staff.

It is located just next to the lake and has a very beautiful lake view. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful though they could speak very little English. The room is a bit dated but the size is good.

We arrive so late night and we need to have dinner but hotel can provide only expensive set menu. Anyway location of this hotel is very good and has free shuttle bus service both from hotel to JR station and Aurora Icebreaking Port. Onsen is very good.

Stayed 3 nights with wife and grandson, they have beds as well as we could sleep on the floor seeing the beautiful lake with snow through the window. Staff are very good, large hot spring facilities are very comfortable! We will come back again ! 2019년 3월 손자와 집사람 셋이 아브 만족스러운 행복한 3박을 하고 왔습니다. 집사람도 겨울에 갔다왔으니 다음에는 여름에 다시 오겠다고 합니다!!!

nice resort close to the Abashirikoso lake”
I was traveling alone but I still got a room with 3 beds, I guess they don't expect many solo travelers. I am not a hot spring lover, but I saw many other guests enjoying the facility, must be not bad. The hotel is by the lakeside, very nice. Though the air condition is very weak, I was sweating a lot trying to get to bed. The area is quite isolated from the town centre, you'll definitely need a car to find any food unless you prepared to have everything at the hotel.

Should not use in winter”
The hotel partially shuts down. There is little hot water and no water pressure. The restaurant is closed for dinner requiring someone to somehow go somewhere for food. The hotel pictures are not accurate and neither is the description.
