Unprofessional uncooperative unfriendly ”
I booked the property for our group for 5 rooms, firstly they refused breakfast for children, we were 2 adults and 2 children in the room. They refuse to give more than 2 towels, refuses to provide more than 2 dental kits, or any other toiletries. Then we had dinner at the 6th floor restaurant and the service was the slowest I have ever encountered. The porter is unwilling to carry luggage. We had an early check out and the billing guy says pay the amout 1 day before as no one might be there in morning.

We had a pleasant stay for 2 nights at the hotel Props Room were very nice and neatly maintained Location is not walkable to mg marg but you can get a shared cab for 30 rs per person Food choices for buffet breakfast were good , however the in room menu is very limited . Staff was very crouteous and warm from Front desk to Restarunt. We enjoyed our stay at summit alpine

Excellent Location”
We loved the location of this property. Its a convenient drive to MG market, the hub of activity. We could get shared cabs at very reasonable rates and within minutes and this stood out. The rooms were quite spacious and nice. WiFi connection could have been better. Cable offered quite a few channels. I think the only place where we could watch NDTV news in english across all of sikkim. The downside was the breakfast where we requested for a masala omelette and it was quite a struggle to get it on the table. But overall I would recommend this hotel, where generally speaking the staff was quite accomodative. Amit at the reception was very helpful.

All the staff is just smiling at your face only to leave you and mind their own business as soon you are shown your room. Waiting times for a simple request as water is 15 minutes at least. Staff calls at 10:30 the night before check out to ask when would we leave the next day. I don’t want to say much about cleaning because this is the first or the only hotel I entered which promised a clean room and then the toilet had been used by someone who forgot to flush and the cleaning staff who sadly had to do this job didn’t. I stayed on for three days because I had booked and needed to be in town and didn’t want to do it all over again — but not only the toilet was dirty — as if I was back in a public toilet or college hotel, there were hair all over the floor. A big tuft of them right outside the bathroom. The staff repeatedly said they had cleaned and how could it be that it was dirty since no one had opened it after we got the keys. But from what I could tell, they changed the sheets (hopefully) and said the cleaning was done. that was all. This hotel often slash prices because no one books them on high prices. Their lower rates do get them occupancy but neither they have the capability to cater to so many guests nor the heart. You can see the cost cutting in things like the quality of the linen, towels, cleaning, bathroom plumbing, indoor slippers, and almost everything. I would always pay a couple of hundred more but get the peace and quality one deserves. Staff is poor, untrained, and just says one minute "I will come" and disappears for 15-20 minutes. The Wifi is pretty weak. And phone signals of Airtel are poor in entire Gangtok so you just get stuck even for simple usage. Parking is very limited and the staff expects you to leave keys with them. Or just ring your bell during the day whenever they like so they can take our your car and adjust others and so on. But of course they don’t tell all this at the check in. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice, special thanks to Pema and Bimla for being so nice. This was one of the nicest places we stayed in till now. Staff is very nice. Delux Rooms are excellent, upgrade rooms is feasible on availability without any cost Breakfast is awesome You can arrange cab facilities from reception(one person can help, name is tenzong ) Location is good,2km from mg market. Share cab is available from there. 30rs per person Manager is very supportive Best thing, terrace restuarant for party place and good music on 6th floor
