The room is spacious. When we arrived around 7 or 8 PM, we were too tired to go out or even go down to their restaurant to eat. So we called the hotel’s restaurant and ordered food over the phone and had it delivered to our room. The foods were surprisingly good. The downside though of our stay was I saw a total of 3 baby roaches. I have a great fear of roaches. 😭

Staff was helpful and fantastic in every way. My only complaint was the air con units, but they moved me rooms with no hassle. Very close to walking street. They have a restaurant downstairs which is pretty good and very inexpensive. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Still a great place to stay but getting noisier in front rooms”
Not the hotels fault but the construction of the buildings over the road has created a "noise tunnel" and the road noise in the street facing rooms is now really bad. Try and get a quiet room at the back or bring some earplugs. Otherwise a great , value for money, place to stay

Aircon”
Aircon was not good. We've called twice to have it checked but they said it is already fast but it was so slow that we haven't used the comforrer at all else it is hot. The bath tub is leaking so when we shower, the water is leaking out of the tub and stagnant on the floor making it messy. Other than that room is big. Early check in was allowed in exchange to early checkout which is the same time as the early check in.

Comfy beds with great staff”
Staying at Hotel America was a good choice because it was near SM Clark, other establishments and very accessible to all kinds of transportations. Although we all enjoyed the night as we were accommodated nicely, had a sound and long sleep, our room had only a/c, small tv (poor cable signal), ref and hot shower. I was excited for the tub, but there were cracks and bumps. Overall, my family still had a wonderful and relaxing time at Hotel America.
