Dramatic Luxury”
Sheltering beside the temple wall beneath the winter blossoming cherry trees from the gale force wind lashing us with sleet and threatening to blow us off of our feet, we thought, "Can we make it the last 10 meters to the lobby entrance?" Ahh, Banjinmisaki. Bold and dramatic like a castle perched on a headland above the sea, this isolated location is a luxurious stage upon which nature presents her moods. Upon reaching the front desk, the attentive staff had warm fluffy towels in our hands before we began to check in, and whether it was requests about the menu or using the computer and printer, were always caring and helpful. Our meticulous tatami style room on the 10th floor was stunning and the view to the south from tempestuous sea to snow covered peaks was magnificent. Sumptuous buffet breakfasts and feast-like evening meals were served at tables looking out across the sea to Sado Island, darting in and out of view between the sea squalls. High drama in luxury, indeed!

Big hotel on the hill, hotel lobby on upper floor fromthe parking. The day I stayed was very quite, staff told me that my room is on 10th floor and direct me to the elevator but actually the key with me is 11 th floor, I thougt may me their mistake telling me about the floor. Finally I went to 11th floor , when the elavator opened it was surrounded by darking even not single light on, It was so horror, I was looking swich to turned on the light. I also enter the room with that key, it was dark in the room and I saw only 2 set of futons being prepared(my group was 3). Then I came down to the front, and finally found out that it was their mistake gave us to the wrong key. Think of it with big hotel but dark and very quite just like a scene in horror movie.

タイトル通りですが、夕食・朝食共にもう少しに 小さな子ども向けのものがあれば100点満点でした。 海まで歩いて5分。 客室に行く前までにシャワーあり。 お風呂も大きめで完璧です。 ※しいて言えば入り口近くに駐車場が少ないぐらいですが、ちょっと歩けばいいだけなのでそんなに問題ではないです。 今回は高層階に宿泊でしたので、非常に眺めが良く、また利用したいと思うロケーションでした。

コロナ禍で日本海が見たかった”
何度も石垣島への旅行がキャンセルになったので、正反対の海を見たくて日本海を”体験”できるようなホテルを探しました。このホテルは海の上に立っているようなロケーションでした。一人旅だと多くのホテルはまず受け付けてもらえないか、宿泊代がかなり割高になりますが、こちらのホテルはそんな事はなく、破格でした。９０平米で三方の壁ほぼ一面が窓です。圧巻は西側で、インフィニティプールのように日本海が望めます。快晴ではなくても夕日は毎日違う表情があり、その向こうには佐渡が見えます。コロナ禍でいっぱいいっぱいだった私の心を邪心から無心に浄化してくれた４日間でした。（スタッフの方々はとてもサービス精神旺盛で、７月なのに肌寒いとすぐヒーター２台とブランケットを持ってきてくれ、レザーの大きなソファが合わない私に大判のシーツを何枚も用意してカバーとして使えるようにしてくれました。最上階を以前からリクエストしていると、電話した時もチェックインした時もそれが他のスタッフにもちゃんと伝わっていて最高の部屋を用意してくれました。）

部屋が熱帯”
部屋からの眺めは良いのですが、この11月でも日中日差しが入り続けているので、チェックイン後の夕方で31℃。暑いので窓を開けようとしても、危険防止の為窓は開きません。エアコンは館内統一になってるので、暖房しか入らず。クレームすると氷を入れて冷やす簡易クーラーを持ってきてもらうも、深夜まで暑さは続く。せめて窓くらいは開けれる様にしてほしい。

今回はプライベートで、以前お天気の最高だったので、海に沈むゆうひが見たくて、また、１泊朝食付きで、バイキングで、新潟の地場産のお食事もかなりありました。そのつもりで行ったのですが、定食風でがっかりでした。

施設に入所している両親を訪ねる為に宿泊しました。岬館の時から利用していました。経営が変わり、建物は年季が入っていますが、以前と変わらぬ佇まいとスタッフのおもてなしは最高です。

素泊まりで安い料金なので文句は言えないが、部屋が201でフロントより下の階で窓からの眺めが左半分が崖。 部屋のタイプ条件をきちんと予約時に表記してもらいたい。がっかり。

素晴らしい眺望の和室をひとり占め”
格安で素晴らしい眺望の広い和室をひとりで利用しました。 天気も良かったため日本海に夕日が沈む瞬間まで堪能でき、大浴場も広くオーシャンビューです。 ぜひまた利用したいです。
