as always the service is excellent the hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the main centre & 15 minutes from the station so a great location, hotel is a little dated but good overall

Worth for money ”
10 min walk from JR Oita shopping centre, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was a tad too small though. I booked it for 3 people but found out that the double bed was a semi-double and not a queen. If you are not too comfortable squeezing with your travel buddies, it might be better to book bigger room.Staffs are friendly and responsive to customers well.

Clean hotel with good wifi”
The premises was a 10 minute walk from Oita station. The staff did not speak English but they have language translation software that worked very well. The staff were helpful and courteuos. If you are travelling to Aso volcano it is a 2 hour local train ride that is covered by the JR pass and then a 560-1000 yen bus fare to one of the two bus stations near the volcano. The local castle is in ruins but there is an aquarium and animal zoo between Oita and Beppu. Oita is a nice city with lots of food options.

Good place in the center, bed are small for two but enough, and for the price it’s ok ! Personel very profesionel, I read comments about their bad english : it’s true they don’t speak english but they do all they can to answer to our asks, and translate all the informations in english 👍

The room is in compact size and quite smelly ,but it is close to the JR Oita station. The hotel provides a bike rental which is good for people who love city biking.

Small hotel located near to Oita Station”
1) Hotel is located in some small streets but close to Oita Station and within 15 mins slow walk. 2) Staff is courteous and helpful and they speak with you through a portable translator if you can't speak Japanese. 3) Room was small and cramp and no space to open up an average size luggage. Booked on a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room and that's a minus point for staff being not attentive to customer's booking and having us to endure the oily smoky cigarette smell for the whole night! 4) Coin parking is available in the next multi-storey carpark for 800yen per 24 hours.

Bike rental, long walk from train station”
Free bike rental. That is a plus for me. I was able to go to Beppu thru Bike. Would like to stya another night.It is near restaurants and market. Con for me is that of limited english by the staff and quite a long walk from train station

The hotel is near is to the station around 10 minutes walk. And there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The hotel is very old and the pillows are uncomfortable. But the welcome drinks are good and staffs are kind.

room old and dirty”
I was staying here 2 nights, location is not bad around 10-15 mins walk from Oita station. - Room and building is very old - Air Con is very dirty and has mold inside, you can obviously see it, I guess more than 1 year that they never clean it up - carpet is dirty - bathroom condition is old too Only good thing in this hotel is that staff is friendly and helpful.
