Perfect hotel ”
My stay was for business and the staff was wearily helpful also if you need to print something. And the view is beautiful nice overview over Saint Denis . And some nice hiking trails near the hotel.

unexpectedly far better than last time”
We had stayed at this hotel during a mandatory stopover from Sydney to Mauritius and the airline had organised this accommodation. We enjoyed our stay but the room was average - old, musty, but spacious and had a huge bed. We booked this on our return as we decided to stay in Reunion for a few days before we went home. We ended up in what must have been an "executive room sea view" instead of a garden view room (we didn't ask any questions) and it was amazing. The place was 5 star in quality, with A/C that you could barely hear, an amazing view, and a private balcony. It was very spacious, and the bathroom was a place you didn't want to leave. The toilet was separate. To summarize how great the room was: the only thing I could think of in terms of what wasn't perfect about the room was the triptych painting above the bed - the three panels were placed too far apart. Service was excellent and all the other things we expected to be good was good, so in the end, a wonderful surprise. Our recommendation is to pay the extra money for the executive sea room which is in an entirely new part of the hotel and is in a different league compared to the room we stayed in initially. This hotel is a bit out of town but up on the hill it really allows you to sit back and soak up the 170 degree views and the lights of St Denis

Excellent. Traffic in town is quite difficult and signposts fairly sparse, but you can get here from airport in 20 minutes. Ample car parking, some covered. Welcoming drink offered by reception. Much bigger room and ensuite than I imagined, but bath itself was small. Scrupulously clean, and had a phone call about 11 a.m. from housekeeping checking it was OK to clean. Real difference to stay in Mauritius where nobody came near the room for 5 days. Breakfast buffet quite extensive, but hot dishes were curry and pastas rather than eggs, etc. Waiting staff exceptional and good language skills. Food French based, but some local elements, and presentation of dishes 5-star - too pretty to eat. Their red tuna tartare, and the whole Concorde set menu fantastic. Room service had many of the same dishes slightly dearer. A lot of business seminars, but they seemed to have their catering separately so the only slight crowding was the car park upper level on Monday to Friday. Can't praise this place highly enough, and hope to return one day.

Only stayed in this hotel for 1 night on a stopover. The rooms are comfortable and for a 4star hotel were a little basic. No tea or coffee facilities and very small TV. Shower in a bath which sprayed water all over the bathroom. Nice view from window but no balcony. Situated high in a hill the hotel has panoramic views especially from the restuarant. Restaurant food of very high standard and delicious. Hotel along way from main part of town and taxi required to travel anywhere. 15 minutes from airport, approx €35

a very decent hotel in st denis”
one of the more appealing hotels in st denis, where we stayed prior to moving out of town only because our incoming flight arrived pretty late in the evening. that said, the hotel was as expected. pretty good standard for the price. all in all a pleasant stay.

Transiting on business”
Stayed here while transiting to catch the next flight. Hotel was too far from airport and was up a hill a bit. Wasn't too close to shops and the town area. Staff were friendly and view from hotel was good

spetacular view but disapointing room”
Average stay of a 4 star hotel. Spatacular view, good restaurant, the size of the room was fine but smelled moldy - especilly the closet, and the fitness was bad.The pool was nice but situateded just next to the restaurant so nobody really used it. I would not recomend for holiday but fine for business.
