The Hotel Cap Sud exceeded expectations providing clean, convenient accommodation. This was a second choice for me as my first was overbooked but I wasn't disappointed. The Location to walk out in the evening was a plus, together with car parking.

Nous nous attendions à un petit hotel simple mais nous avons été surpris par la qualité de la chambre, du petit déjeuner et du professionnalisme du personnel. Seul petit bémol, nous avons eu la chambre pour personne en mobilité réduite donc pas adapté pour nous (lavabo trop bas).

Das Hotel ist sauber, der Rezeptionist war freundlich, aber das war's dann auch. Das Zimmer roch etwas verraucht und hatte entgegen der tollen Werbebilder weder Balkon noch schöne Aussicht. Es gab keine Möglichkeit, den Duschkopf an der Wand zu befestigen, und keinen Duschvorhang, so dass trotz vorsichtigem Duschens der Badezimmerboden nass wurde. Der simple Tisch war auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Wand mit den Steckdosen. Nachdem ich mich durch die sehr umständliche Anmeldung für den Internetzugang gequält hatte, stellte sich heraus, dass das WLAN zumindest in meinem Zimmer unbrauchbar war, weil es durch ein anderes WLAN in der Nachbarschaft, das auf dem gleichen Kanal betrieben wurde, total gestört wurde. Ich habe versucht, das dem Rezeptionisten zu erklären, aber er hat es wohl nur halb verstanden und wollte/konnte an der Technik auch nichts ändern. Das Zimmer lang am Anfang des Treppenhauses, an dem am Abend einige andere Gäste vorbei polterten, und gegen 4 Uhr morgens klopfte ein Mann an meine Tür, der offenbar jemand Anderes darin vermutete. Glücklicherweise war ich eh gerade schon am Aufbrechen, weil ich zum Sonnenaufgang am Piton de la Fournaise sein wollte. Nix wie weg, auf Nimmerwiedersehen.
