a magnificent choice”
I actually changed my booking to the Catalonia Plaza on account of the corona outbreak, and I still received excellent care in particular from the staff at reception and in the restaurant. My room was very comfortable, and I sincerely enjoyed the breakfasts. Access to the subway is just outside the door, and under normal conditions the airport bus operates every 10 minutes from a stop that you is only a few steps away. Although I normally prefer the Eixample, this hotel left me very satisfied - and I'll be sure to consider it seriously for future bookings!

Nice hotel”
The hotel was very good for its price. It was very small but got everything you would need. I liked the modern style. Location-wise it was not the best, by that I mean not in walking distance of any major attractions. But it was easy to get a taxi and most places are within 15 min drive.

Great location and good value ”
Ideally situated o. GRAN Via between Universitat an Plaza España, this hotel is a little gem. Also great for pu loc transport links and proximity to airport bus. Rooms get very hot in summer though, and pool is dinky size. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel bad reception”
The hotel was reasonably well located, a few minutes walk to las ramblas. Room was decent but I was looking for something larger. We had a bad experience with the front desk, Gerrard was rude and impatient. We wanted to see the rooms before selecting a room we weren’t allowed to, was told to find images online and choose from there. Our reservations were cancelled although we didn’t receive a cancellation note. Will not stay again at the hotel because of reception.

A very pleasant stay! A 'MUST-STAY'!”
I booked this hotel 2 hours before I were to fly from Asia all the way to Europe. The rooms looked exactly the same as to what it is shown on the website. My room was clean, and I love the toiletry bag that contains all the bathroom amenities. Clean bedsheets, comfortable bed, great TV channels, brightly-lit lamps, modern design. Great WIFI connection. Complimentary use of computer terminals at the lobby. I left my luggage in the storage for safekeeping while I head off to Madrid for 3 days, at no cost at all! The metro station was nearby, less than 8 minutes' leisure walk. There were convenient stores nearby, and a great pizza place nearby! The breakfast spread was good and I enjoyed it alot. Most importantly, the hotel staff was VERY helpful in terms of providing directions, recommendations and even to the extend of helping me with inter-city postage problems which I encountered. If I ever have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful city, this is the hotel that I will want to stay again. I have left my heart in Barcelona, and now is your turn!

Vueling hotel is a petite hotel for a quick short stay for tourists. Location is close to placa catalunya (10 mins walk max..)I was perhaps among the first guests of the place and hence got a number of freebies ( free minibar, free breakfast, etc.) which made my stay special. My room overlooked the the Gran Via road and was the just the right size for me. Overall great stay and would definitely come back the next time.

VERY CENTRALLY LOCATED, VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE”
Hotels in Europe generally don't compare to those in the states. They're typically much smaller and older. With this in mind, the room was much roomier than expected. The bed was large and very comfortable. If closed, the curtains completely block out all sunlight and permit guests to sleep in. Hotel is located on a big, main street but you don't hear any noise from the street in your room. The shower is large and clean and has great water pressure. The gym is small with all the basic machines and gadgets and offers free bottles of water. On the corner is the Urgell metro station, and the Universitat metro station is about a 5 minute walk away. Placa Catalunya is a 20 minute walk away, and Las Ramblas intersects with it - so lots of local shopping. If the hotel isn't in the El Raval neighborhood, then that neighborhood is within a 5 minute walk. I have 2 complaints, however. 1) the wifi is free but you need to log in every time you use it. So if you are connected using your smartphone, everytime you close your phone (i don't mean turn off) you log out of wifi. VERY annoying. 2) Room service has minimums because the restaurants aren't on site, but will deliver your order. I'm a little iffy on this though because even though I was advised that room service is off site, I did see people eating at tables in the hotel and was told there was a restaurant there... So if the hotel has a restaurant I don't know why room service options are limited to off-site restaurants.

Overall the stay was excellent. Everything was great from location to staff service to the comfort of the room. We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona walking around at taking in the sights. Hotel Vueling just made it that much more enjoyable.

We had great time staying at the hotel. I was pleased with cleanliness of the rooms, quality of food and interior color scheme. It's just next to Metro station. The hotel stuff was very friendly in all aspects: the reception, room service and in the breakfast cafe. They were enthusiastic about assisting us in giving comprehensive information about shops and attractions. Top hotel.

Amazing room, amazing location, amazing value”
Me and my partner probably rank this hotel as our most favourite across all the places we stayed at in Europe (not kidding). Most favourite to mention were the cleanliness of the rooms, big and spacious, modern and fun interior designs consistent with the airline vueling's image (flight window panes on walls, primarily yellow and white colours, fun door hanger that said: 'do not disturb', and 'ready to board' for room cleaning service). Easy to find taxis strolling right outside the hotel. Only con I could mention is that it may be a little difficult to find with the cab drivers as it is a fairly new hotel. Fairly easy walking distance to a lot of the main attractions. Would definitely recommend to others and would love to stay here again.

Nice Hotel. Average Location”
We arrived at the hotel and realised that we were only booked in a single room. Although it clearly stipulated it was our honeymoon, this attention to detail was not adhered to.Once to staff had realized their mistake,they rectified it.The 1st night we unfortunately stayed in a tiny room.It's a good size for 1 person,but extremely uncomfortable for 2.The staff accommodated us by upgrading us to a bigger room at no extra charge.This room was great!The area of the hotel is the biggest 'let down' of this hotel.Although it's a quick walk to the closest metro station, this becomes tiring after a while.All in all,this hotel is good value for money, but next time in Barcelona, I will stay in the Gothic quarter.

Very comfortable and quiet room”
The check-in process was very easy. When we arrived at our room we were surprised at how large and clean it was. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. The hotel is across the road from the Urgell matro stop and a short walk to the Universitat metro. It is also a short walk to La Rambla and the Gotic area. It is approximately 20 Euro to get from the airport to the hotel and visa versa. Hotel staff were very friendly and, to summarise, the hotel was perfect for a couple and what we required.
