Small and basic room, but cheap and clean!”
I paid around 95 euro per night. Compared to many of Barcelona's hotels that is quite cheap. The room was small and simple, but nicely cleaned every day. The bed was very hard, but to me that's better than too soft. The view was just another wall, but I didn't mind. Better than a noisy street. The soundproofing between the rooms were poor, but luckily for me my neighbours were quiet. The shower had a great water pressure. I liked it a lot. It could be very hot if you accidentally put it to max heat, so carefully not to burn yourself. The staff were welcoming and kind. I don't recommend the hotel to anyone that want something fancy, but as a basic hotel it was ok. I will choose it the next time also, and use the money I saved on shopping :)

Affordable and Great Location”
Location is great, walkable to all the sights in old town. Updated accommodations, very clean, a shared lounge offers a microwave and beverage vendo machine. Reception Staff was very helpful and professional. Would definitely stay with them again in the future.

WORTH THE PRICE”
I paid 37 EUR per night, book on the same night. Perfect location, everything the way it should be. Air conditioning included was amazing surprise. Worth the price in my case, it took me 4 min to get to the bus station before going to the airport. Bags are stored in a locked room - seeing that was a plus. Spanish reception workers were very nice, but an Asian lady was talking on the phone with her family when at work.

The location is good with easy access to public transport, hop on hop off stop and aerobus stop which is just a few minutes walk. Also there are lot of restaurants nearby and the happening la ramblas street is very near. It is a budget hotel with only basic amenities.

Hotel is located at La Ramla. 5 mins walk to take hop on hop off bus and airport bus shuttle. It’s also close to Barcelona Mercato. Many shops for you to shop to drop. However the room the pretty basic. Mattress is thin and hard. Bathroom is spacious though.

Good location. However, the room is too small and the air polluted by smoke if someone is smoking close to windows. You might concern if you are sensitive of Tabaco and like to have fresh air when you sleep.

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Hotel Catalunya- our room was good sized and very clean. The hotel is situated in a lovely side road off Las Ramblas. The staff were very friendly and efficient- we would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to be in central Barcelona Many thanks Karen and Jim

Clean, safe, quite new, centrally located hotel”
This hotel is quite new with friendly receptionist and cleaning lady. It very centrally located,very convenient with a lot of eateries right besides, opposite the hotel. The Airport Aerobus also reach this hotel almost door step at PLaza Catalunya which is the last stop, you wont miss it. Just have walk 5 or 10 minutes you will reach the hotel, Very convenient and economical at Euro10.20 This hotel is within walking distance to Pasieng Garcia where alot of branded shops are and walking distance to the old Rambla with the seafront further down if you walk just a bit further. A lot of shops, cafes and restaurants along the route. This hotel is also very near to the Segales Bus stop, just 10 to 15 minuted walk.Segales Bus at Euro14 for 2 way trip goes direct to La Roca Village for those off season branded items. Alot of brands and choice. This is my 2nd trip to Barcelona and I would say it is my best stay in Barcelona as everything is so near, great location, friendly helpful stafs, clean new hotel and many deal deals too.

Was nervous at first as it was only a 2 star hotel but turned out to be great!”
The hotel was in a perfect location. It was near the entry of la ramblas as well as very close to Catalunya. Below the hotel, there are various shops, cafes and restaurants. If you can, try to request for higher than 2nd floor. The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The Bed was comfortable and the room even had a mini fridge. The staff was very helpful too.

Small clean room in a great location.”
The hotel was easy to find, map in hand, from the dropoff of the Airport bus. For the sights that are not in walking distance, the Metro is two blocks away. Everything else is right there, La Rambla, restaurants, and many sights. The staff was friendly, spoke English, and had good maps at the ready to help you get around. The room was typically Euro small, but clean and had the necessary amenities. For the price and location, I would undoubtedly stay there again.

Centrally Located”
The hotel is conveniently located in La Rambla and Barri Gotic district, one block from Placa de Catalunya where you can catch the Aerobus to and from the airport. You are half a block from La Rambla, the famous pedestrian boulevard which is No. 1 tourist spot on Lonely Planet. Our room was basic but totally clean and ok. The quiet rooms are facing inside as opposed to those with a balcony overlooking a small pedestrian street which would offer good views but on the noisy side. Staff were helpful and friendly. The internet was fast and easy. There is free computers with a printer connected to the Internet on the 1st floor. Convenient for online checkin and printing boarding pass. Very good value for the money.
