Iam Indian travelled across Europe and generally Barcelona is expensive.but this Hotel is Amazing and staffs are very helping nature .your Rooms are cleaner than other places stayed in differnt cities of the spain and all amenities like toileries etc. are provided in the room.100% worth value for money.

This hotel is a gem! Super clean, amazing staff and close to everything. I was incredibly happy with my choice. I walked everywhere from this hotel, granted they were long days, however, not once did I feel I should have picked another hotel. I would recommend to anyone who wants to see Barcelona by foot, which is always the best way to see a city!

Hotel itself is ok, nothing special but staff not great...”
The hotel is fine for a night or two. The fridge in the room wasn't working so we called to have someone repair it which they were not able to do and they didn't follow up. We were running behind a few mins (12:04) and they called the room to threaten to charge us if we didn't show up for checkout in 3 minutes, which I didn't think was very professional. I also own a hotel in the UK and we always give tolerance for later checkout as basic customer service which is why we are well reviewed. Unfortunately this hotel fell below my expectations given the higher price and 4 star rating..

Silken Concordia, 4 nights, August 2010”
We found the Concordia Hotel to be great value for money based on our desire to have a hotel that allowed us to explore Barcelona with ease of access to transport and local highlights. The location allowed excellent utilisation of our 5 day travel passes (bus, metro, tram) including travel to/from airport. Very helpful staff and efficient room servicing. Great breakfast options. Local area felt safe to walk around day/night.

The hotel is near Metro Poble Sec, very convenient. Room is not small, but the bed is too soft for me. Hotel breakfast has different kind of food. Overall, this hotel is good choice for staying in Barcelona!

Clean and convenient but poor sound proofing ”
Pros 1) Convenient location - the metro location is right opposite to the hotel; there are many eateries around the hotel; a 2-min walk to the supermarket Dia and at least 10 mum and pop stores nearby. 2) Helpful n friendly staff - esp Alicia who gave me practical advice on where to visit. 3) The room I stayed was on the first floor facing an inner corner of its building. It was extremely dark even during daytime. Cons 1) The room is rather tiny - not much space for you to open a big luggage 2) Thin walls and door - poor soundproofing makes you wake up at mid night and early morning at 6am. Esp their housekeeping staff bang things around in early mornings as if no one was staying in the building. They can certainly tidy up rooms in a more gentle and quiet manner. 3) Noisy tenants - while this is not entirely the hotel s fault, it would be very helpful if they could remind whoever staying not to shout and talk loudly in the corridors due to the poor sound proofing.

We enjoyed our stay here for 6D5N in the past 2 weeks. This hotel has such a great location. Very easy for us to travel around Barcelona during our visit. Best place to stay and highly recommended!

this hotel was probably the best choice. the underground station just in front of the hotel, around 10 seconds from the entrance. the room was really clean, nice furnitre and hd tv which is not a must, but great entertainment for rainy nights. the hotel has a very good price/performance ratio.

Nice hotel, noisy cleaning staff”
No complains about the room, staff or cleanliness. I requested a cake and candles for my other half on arrival for her birthday and they delivered them to our room on arrival, which made her day. Sadly the first night we got woken up a lot earlier than we would have preferred by the cleaning staff, who not only chatted a lot in the corridors, they also kept opening and shutting an extremely creaky door nearby... We talked about it to a young man in reception who must have passed the complain on to them, because the next morning they started a lot later (we couldn't thank him enough next time we saw him). Room service was really slow due to the hotel being under-staffed (the lady that run the restaurant/bar also prepared the food and drinks for the rooms). All in all, great location and a nice hotel.

Lovely hotel ”
Most importantly the room was very clean. Even though the hotel was 2km away from plaza Catalunya the fact that the hotels entrance was just opposite Poble sec metro station made everything easier, we were just 5 minutes away from the city center. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly.

It was a very pleasant stay. Room was nice and clean. It was a short walk from the last bus stop coming from the airport. It was not in the center of the bustling La Rambles area but was close enough. Overall a very satisfying couple of days in Barcelona.

Staffs are friendly and helpful, closed to metro and cafe, supermarket, Chinese restaurant are within walking distance. The hotel is non smoking, but my kid's room smell cigarette.

Good location (there is a metro stop right outside the hotel across the road which can easily take you to Las Ramblas or Placa de Catalunya in a couple of stops.) and comfortable friendly hotel. Very good value for money. The service was excellent, staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely use this hotel time and time again.

Very good location, tube station just next to the hotel, to get to gothic quaters and la rambla takes around 15-20min walking. Staff is very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel location is good near Poble Sec metro station and walking distance to Montjuic and Las Ramblas. Room was a little small for 4 star hotel but the staff were outstanding in providing recommendations for places to visit, local dining options and FC Barca football tickets.
