Good if you are driving”
I was driving so its remoteness from train stations did not matter to me. But I think they have a shuttle bus. The room comes with a small balcony, and the room is quite spacious, probably because it is not in an urban district. They have a hotspring for free. I am not aware there is any natural hot spring source nearby and I suspect the water is artificial. But they have a hot spring water certificate from the government, so it does not really matter whether the water is natural or artificial. At this price, cannot ask for more.

Not bad, a little long in the tooth”
First off, the customer service was exceptional. Location for attending a youth sports event in Hitachi Naka was very fortunate. The hotel appears to cater to wedding parties and events of that nature so the entry and ground floor seem very opulent. However, the building appears to have definitely seen some better days.. We stayed in a twin room on the 8th floor and unfortunately it was a smoking room (there was nothing to be done about that because we were a bit pressed for time/price so we chose it.) We wouldn't choose to stay again but mainly because we would plan better for a newer place with fresher amenities.

1泊朝食付きで利用しました。 利用したシングルルームは、しばらく利用が無かったのか、机全体を埃が覆っていたため、持っていたウェットティッシュで拭いて使用しました。 窓際のカーテンも、レースの方は破れが多く、厚地の布の方は 日焼けで色が褪せ ていました。 交換した方がいいレベルかと思いました。 室内は、ある程度のリフォームがされているようでしたが、壁紙が剥がれかけていたり、エアコンの吹き出し口が黒ずんでいたのが気になりました。 また、大浴場までのみちのりと、浴室内が寒かったです。 お風呂を楽しみにしていたこともあり、残念でした。 建物の規模が広いので、エアコンが行き渡らないのでしょうか。 以上のことから、宿泊料金は高い、という印象を受けました。 今後、食事での利用はあるかもしれませんが、宿泊は無さそうです。 ただ、スタッフの方の接客は、チェックイン、館内案内、レストランの方々や清掃担当の方、皆さんとても丁寧でした。 気持ちの良い応対に、感謝しています。ありがとうございました。

古いと汚いの違い”
古くても清潔にしている宿泊施設は沢山ありますが、こちらの施設の部屋は窓ガラスのレースのカーテンが日焼けでボロボロに破れていて驚きました。 バスルーム内も掃除したのか？他の方の髪などがあり気持ち悪い思いをしました。 シャワーはお湯から突然、冷たい水に変わりました。残念です。
