We loved our stay at this hotel. I thought it was really great value for money. Great modern design aesthetic. Rooms are compact but clean. Ours had a lovely view out over the river. Bathroom feels a bit strange like inside a container, but nothing wrong with it! Not the sort of hotel where one plans to just hang out in the room all day. Loved the breakfast options - maxed out on the delicious French Toast! Location wise, conveniently right opposite Yokohama Brewery and not far from another brewery. Walking distance to a train and subway stations, as well as the waterfront area (Cup Noodle Museum is fun!). For those travelling to watch Rugby World Cup games at International Yokohama Stadium, just note that this is not the stadium right near this hotel (oops on us!) but still easier to get to via the blue subway line.

Very clean airy hotel with a lovely decor and light and spacious lobby area. Breakfast was very good. Complimentary tea/ coffee making facilities was an added bonus. Complimentary Wifi was most welcome. Staff spoke very good English and was extremely helpful. Excellent location within walking distance to JR and Subway lines. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for any travellers.You don't have to stay in Shinjuku area and pay double the prices for less comfortable hotels. It is only about 30 mins away from main attractions on the Metro.

Exceptional”
Hands down the best full-blown hotel the wife and I enjoyed while traveling throughout Japan. This place was not that far from the Yokohama JR station, probably a 20 minute walk. Was very close to a lot of features or definitely within walking distance. The staff itself was super nice as well, and spoke English very well. There was one gentleman who helped us check in, and was probably the nicest hotel staff person we have ever met. That's not to take anything away from the rest of the staff though, who helped us all the time and was always willing to answer our questions. The room is typical, so nothing to really note there. Honestly if you've been to one Japanese hotel in a major city you've probably been to them all. The difference maker, at least to me, was what was around. This hotel seems to sell out fast, so try to book sooner than later. Luckily I got this place on a whim after having to change bookings a few times.

My best stay in Japan”
Edit Yokohama hotel was my best stay in Japan. The location is very convenient. It is walking distance to JR, subway blue line, Minato Mirai 21 area, and China town. It takes about 40 minutes to Tokyo station. The hotel is modernly designed. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and bigger than those in Tokyo hotels. Breakfast buffet provides healthy and tasty food. I’m super satisfied with my stay here!

Best service in a good location”
Our first impression was the front desk staff was super helpful. We arrived in a rainy afternoon with a 2 years old son, and the staff offered us some towel to dry ourselves. They even allowed us to check in a bit earlier so we can bath the soak baby. The amentities were perfect. They even have slippers and toothbrush for baby! Our room has nice view. The bed and linen were so soft and comfy. The soap and shampoo smell nice. And the location, just few minutes walk from JR station, close to family mart and you can walk to many attractions and museums and shopping area.

Great hotel, super staff, near transport links”
Modern hotel. Really super staff and greeting on arrival - could not have been more helpful. Good size room with everything required. Good air con. Great range of toiletries and bits and pieces. Extensive breakfast with plenty of choice for all tastes. Restaurant offers a great value lunch though we had dinner twice - food excellent. Soup, steak and risotto can all be recommended. Due to closeness to transport links a little train rumble might be heard but not an issue. We had a room facing one of the many waterways - very restful. Happily stay again.

I have stayed at Hotel Edit before and they never fail to deliver. It’s simply decent, clean, quiet and well located in Yokohama. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and the rooms suit the purpose of having a comfortable place to stay at. Don’t expect loads of space, this is Japan after all, but the rooms are certainly not cramped like some other hotels. I visit Yokohama every year and Hotel Edit is my go to place.

Amazing staff!”
I was a solo traveller with a mission to cover everything and everywhere within the short stay. The hotel staff were very very patient and thorough in explaining and answering the millions of questions that I had, including calling up Mizuno in search of that particular model of my sought after Netball shoes. Truly truly grateful. Unfortunately those shoes are made for export, hence none sold in Japan. Oh well.. Anyhow, thank you ever so much for making my stay such a wonderful experience. Oh one more to add - first impression as I entered the lobby - the air smelled so so so nice, like in a spa. Felt so calm & relaxed..

Wonderful accommodation ”
The location of this hotel is excellent. It’s a footbridge away from Sakuragicho Station and a block away from the bus stop. The room I got was just comfortable enough for me. It might be too small for 2 pax. There’s free coffee and tea at the common area.

Modern and Chic Hotel on the heart of Yokohama”
Hotel is well located (10 mins walk fr Sakuragicho St., 15-20 mins walk fr Red Brick Warehouse & Cup Noodles Museum). Its very clean and well decorated with minimalistic style. Room is spacious and quiet too. Very worth it!

Great location, helpful staff, value for money”
This was our first time to Yokohama, and we were very pleased! This hotel made our visit even more wonderful with its great location. We were walking distance from Noge Alley, Yokohama pier (Red Brick house), China town, and many others. The hotel staff were very helpful and could communicate in English well. The room itself was quite comfortable, although it's quite compact. We would definitely stay here again should we visit Yokohama in the future!

It's not the closest to Sakurachigo Station, but it's a great value for the location and price. ”
The staff are very friendly and helpful when ordering a taxi for me. I'm a slow walker so it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the Sakurachigo station. The room is nice and clean and modern. Didn't feel like an old motel. The restroom is nice and I wouldn't have mind soaking in it if I had time.

As usual Japanese style ,room is small but for solo traveler is ok .Free coffer offer in lobby,10 AM check out a little early . Location is good ,walking within 10 mins can reach 樱木町 subway station and this station you can see all Minato Mirai. just one staion from Yokohama .
