Everything was great except the bathroom!”
Had a handicapped suite and the shower has no curtain or lip to catch the water. Water went everywhere every time I showered. Other than that very nice stay

Hospital stay”
I needed to have a procedure at Shands Hospital. My arrival time was 6:30 a.m. staying at this hotel the night before relieve so much stress from worrying about getting there on time. This is one exceptional place. The valets were extremely friendly and helpful. They told us about a shuttle bus from the hotel to the hospital that was for free. They send you a message saying to Simply text back the word car when you wanted your car. Our car was waiting out front for us when we wanted to leave. This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting or needing a place for family to stay while you're in the hospital. I thank everyone there for their kindness and obvious caring about what we were going through. You are exceptional people. Tell your boss you all deserve a raise. We will definitely stay again.

I was in Gainesville for my mother's heart surgery at SHANDS Hospital across from the hotel. She had to stay in ICU a longer period causing me to extend my stay. They were accommodating and allowed me to check-in early when switching rooms. Recommended.
