Affordable stay and clean place”
The guys at the concierge were really friendly and helpful even though they were not fluent with English. The stay is really simple if you are mainly focused on travelling in Jeju (if you are out and about the whole day, only wanting a place to stay). The place is clean, toothpaste and towels are provided. The building may look a little old but at this price, it's value for money. The toliet is relatively clean as well, just remember to keep your belongings if you are staying with strangers as your own responsibility.

Smell isn't good. Tiny room. But bunch of parking spaces on the basement floor with spiderweb and low ceiling. Location is great. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores around.

I stayed here because they had a bunch of fun stuff. A pool table, (Pocketball), foosball, (table soccer) and band instruments, a stage, etc. Very cool place. The room was ok.

Rooms were not that clean. Location was near a lot of food. But street was a bit shady… had a brothel right beside. It was okay for the money we paid. They said there was mountain view but there were no views but would not reccomend for all girls, felt a bit unsafe

Perfect budget hotel”
We stayed 4 nights in Hotel Gaon J stay. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants, bus stops, laundromats and within reasonable walking distance to the waterfalls. Staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks English. Our room and bed was small. The bed was also a bit to hard for us. The white thin curtains don't block the sunlight, so you wake up as the sun rises (in our case very early). The two seating areas downstairs are a bonus. One room is partly a game room, with pool table etc. Nothing beats the price of this hotel. Especially if compared to all the other hotels in Korea we stayed in so far.

I am staying in a female dormitory for 3 nights and surprisingly the room is spacious, have all basic facilities you needed like hair dryer, electric kettle, mug, and TV with a lots of channel. Not to forget a clean toilet and toiletries were provided. The location is in the Arang Food street and walking distance to Olle Market. Plenty of good restaurant and 24hr convenient store. Most importantly walking distance to bus stop. Staff speaking a very good and clear English. I love staying at Gaon J and later if I come to Jeju I will definitely stay here again.

Good location, nice staff”
I stayed in this hotel for 5nights and it is the best affordable hotel (so far, for me) in Jeju. The hotel is strategically located near to the Traditional Market, and also the Food Street. Near to a few bus stations i.e Jungang Rotary and Old Seogwipo Bus Terminal. It is also located at the Route 7, if you are here for the Jeju Olle. The morning staff, Mr Ha is very friendly and helpful and to the extend helping me to purchase extra luggage for my domestic flight to Seoul using his own credit card. Room cleaning will be done everyday as long as you inform the front desk that you need one (before 12pm)
