The bed, the bed, the bed, it's the bed! ”
The reception checked me in when I arrived at around 12noon. It may be because I looked so haggard and wet from the rain or I already paid for my stay in advance. I was also upgraded to a bigger room which I was grateful for. The room provided to me is huge with a nice view of the mountains, though weather was gloomy. There is a closet. Bathroom is spacious but felt it was too cold inside, probably because of the tiled walls. The bed is so comfortably soft and nice to sleep in. Jura espresso machine in the lobby for hot coffee. They also have bicycles, free to use. If you are non-Japanese, free tram tickets too. I think this is the only hotel in Japan I stayed in where there was no air or fabric spray provided. The room is a little old with torn curtains but didn't really matter to me.

Nice hotel to stay in. ”
About eight minutes' walk from Toyama Station to the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful when we want to change to "without breakfast" arrangement. Our room has all the necessary amenities. However, the mattress is soft and easily sinks in when we sleep on it. It would be nice if the mattress can be replaced with a new one for the comfort of other hotel guests. Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay in.

cozy hotel at Toyama near to Toyama railway station”
We stayed here for the night after our Alpen hike. Breakfast was Japanese buffet style and there is a wide variety of food to choose from. Room was comfortable with a bathtub. Wifi is strong. Would have like it better if the TV channels are in English. Many shopping malls nearby and walking distance to Toyama Castle.

Wonderful hospitality and worth staying!”
Staying here for one night is too short for me when I found this wonderful hotel in Toyama :) My room is quite big enough for 2 people and they have also provide the guest with free coffee, tea and ochazuke (rice boiled with soup) each day. The extra amenities like books, DVDs, pants press, shampoo & condition, etc. can be found and available for free rental at the hotel, I will recommend this place to my friends :)

A spacious old styled place”
Though the hotel is not very close to the station, the road to it was easy to walk even with a piece of 20-kilo luggage. Love the breakfast here, we were all amazed by the choices included there, and enjoyed the great food as perfect start for our mountain trip. The tatami room was very comfortable. We all enjoyed the smell of natural tatami, and agreed that it might probably be one of the best we booked for the trip.

Short walk to Toyama Eki and Toyama Dentetsu which gets you to Kurobe Alpine Route. Spacious room 27 sq m. We booked 3 nights in new wing but was given room in main building. Disappointed as it different from our expectations as shown in photo during booking.

Stayed only a night. Very near train station to start early for the Alpine Route. Hotel arranged our luggages delivery to next hotel. With 3 beds in our room, there wasn't much space for our luggages. Staff not very conversant in English. Fortunately there was a translator she contacted to assist us.

I can not say too much since I only stay for 1 night. Location is very stategic, so near to Toyama Station. You can reach it before just before you sweat by stepping. Many complements provided for guest, however most of symbol and sign is in Japanese.

the hotel is rather posh, great location near the train station, many restaurants nearby. the room is big and there is an extra foldable bed for our 1 yr old. all items prepared (towels, cups etc) are for 3 people even though our baby is only 1yr old. highly recommend.

Around 5-10 minutes walking distance to Toyama Station (depending on how you walk). If you prefer closer distance to station, i think you can browse other hotels because i noticed there's a lot of other hotels closer than this. The hotel itself is huge and give somewhat fancy and expensive feeling which is a good point. The mattress is the best, its really comfy. All other amenities is complete inside your room.

The location is great...few minutes walk to toyama station and aside from that,it is also near to tram station which you can use to roam around the city. The hotel's facade is grand however our room, in particular, is quite old and needs renovation. But overall the hotel gives value for your money.

Stayed here for 1 night before going to Ainokura. The front desk were quite helpful allowing us to store our luggage for 1 day. Location wise, the hotel is less than 10 min walk from the JR Station.
