Plaza - Himeji Hotel”
We enjoyed our stay at the Plaza Himeji Hotel. Checked in early and the staff held our bag giving us the opportunity to shop w/out having to take our luggage along with us. Great sauna area, very relaxing to soak and gave me a place to get ready in the morning allowing my wife full use of the room facilities :) I would stay at the Plaza if ever in the Himeji area again.

Very good location but not very clean ”
Very close to Himeji staion! There are malls and restaurants. You can walk from the hotel to Himeji castel around 20 minutes. They also have public bath, it's pretty cool. The room are ok for one night but the friged was smelly, I couldn't use it.

Perfect stay for one night ”
Chose this hotel because it was so close to train station. It didn’t disappoint. Clean and efficient with an excellent buffet breakfast, it was fine for a one night stay to visit Himeji Castle.

Worth the money to stay in this nice hotel”
Location is pretty good, very close to Himeji Eki. Staff is nice. Room is okay clean. If improve the cleanliness a little bit more, it will get a even high mark. Worth to stay in this hotel for 1 to 2 nights.

Location is good but room is too small”
Location is near to the Himeji station, that easy to access. However, the room is too small out of our expertation, maybe the cost of accomandation is high there. Also, they provide bath (look like hot spring) for the residence in the hotel for certain period. Managed to enjoy it for 15 min.

Convenient, value for money”
Hotel Himeji Plaza is only a stonethrow away from the shinkansen station. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating of our requests. However, the lifts and rooms are a little old and are in need of upgrading.

Served its purpose for a one night stay. ”
Staff were polite and helpful. Room was expectedly small but was clean and tidy. Slight draft and noise from the window were only downsides. Very close to Himeji Station.

Nice cheap place to stay to go see Himeji castle”
Our room was bigger than most Japanese hotels, there was a lot of selection as what to watch on tv. Right by JR station and a nice walk to the castle. The public bath was nice and clean. There are saunas, but I did not use them. The staff was accommodating, though not overly friendly like most Japanese hotels. You should note that the one guy who spoke English, at least in our case, said he leaves at 6:30p. So if you have a late check in it might be a little harder communicating, but I am sure you would still get what you need. For the price it is very good. Also I would note that it seemed to be a lot of Japanese people staying there and not many foreigners. So if that is uncomfortable for you, you might have to pay more to stay somewhere else.

I have stayed there only for one night during the short rush sightseeing trip around Japan. Arrived late and leave early in the morning. Good suitable room. Also I was kindly advised about Himeji castle opening time - it helped to make plan for the next day.

Sumptuous breakfast”
The hotel lies within 5-min walk from JR Himeji station. It isn't a new hotel, but the room is still quite comfortable. The real surprise is the breakfast. They serve Japanese food in high quality and quantity.

Too small just enough.”
Quite a small room but very close to the station and the shopping street and himeji castle. They provide free to use converter plug if you ask. There give free green tea and sleeping robe and fabric freshener. 👍🏽👍🏽

did not eat there, so food/dining score is irrelevant. the only downsides were that the bathroom was a little musty and there weren't quite enough outlets (granted for 3 adults with smart phones, cameras, wifi, and iPads to charge).
