Very good”

the room is very clean I think. but it is also not cheap to stay one night. Room is kind of small too. But location is really really good. There is a 24 hrs supermarket close by, and also many restaurants nearby. Also very convenient to access public transport. Overall, it is good, but little bit pricey.

Terrific location to stay”

The hotel location is close to train/subway station and not to drag stroller too far which is very convenient. And also there is convenient store 7E quite nearby. Since we are muslim traveller, there are plenty of halal restaurants nearby and not to mention halal bento is also available. The only down side for this hotel is that the room is quite small and the bed just barely fit for 2 adults and a toddler.

Convenient location with friendly staff”

Good location, Near many tourist attraction, Close to subway station

This hotel location is really convenient about 5 Minute walk to Asakusa Station (Tsukuba express subway line) that can be use to transit or travel to major JR line station like JR Akihabara station. Close to many famous tourist attraction within walking distance like 浅草寺, Sensōji or know as Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo Skytree, Hanayashiki Amusement Park, Sumida Park, etc (Tokyo Skytree is a bit far) Plenty of local shop and restaurant around the hotel you can choose from genuine Japanese style food to fast food like MC Donald. Hotel room is clean comfy well equipped with everything you need but a bit small (Typical Japanese hotel room), Staff is really friendly and helpful, I'd ask one of the staff how to get to Tokyo Bigsight he's not only give me direction but print the map from website and give it to me. All staff are really polite.

Good Location with a few Issues”

My biggest gripe is with the air conditioning, or rather lack of it. The room had a standing unit that did little more than recycle warm air. I found it stuffy and hot at times, which didn’t help me to sleep - and this is in Autumn, so I can't imagine what it might have been like in Summer. The second gripe is with the WiFi, which I found to be erratic and sometimes extremely slow. The hotel is very close to Honmon-ji and about a 30 min walk from Tokyo Tower. It’s also close to the riverboat cruise station. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and the area is lively without being overly busy. Getting there from Haneda Airport is easy, but then I already had a SUICA IC card. The hotel is close to several stations on the Ginza, Asakusa and Tsukuba Express Lines. The last is the closest, with the Asakusa TEL station just a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel; however, don’t think that this automatically makes it the best option. From Haneda you will make three changes from monorail, to the JR Yamanote line to the Tsukuba Express line. Those will entail a lot of trekking and climbing stairs. If you’re not accustomed to Tokyo transport, you may also find it a challenge to follow the relevant signage, which is sometimes not obvious. After a long flight and carrying a lot of luggage that may be a challenge. Be prepared. My room was small, but perfectly fine for me; a couple may have found it a squeeze, but that is not unusual for hotel rooms in Japan. If the hotel had better AC, I would give it a higher rating, though the wireless data connection was irritating. The staff were friendly and the room was kept clean.

staff are great we did not speak Japanese except for hello and thankyou and the did not have much English but we all survived

we had been skiing for 2 weeks and looking forward to a nice hotel. hotel keihan asakusa was great - our room was a bit small but it is usually like that in japan so not overly concerned. it was in walking distance to the sights and to the train station for us to do our sightseeing by train which turned out to be very easy to do. so would recommend to anyone who asked us.

Comfortable Value for Money Hotel”

Clean, comfortable, easy access to public transportation

Overall good value-for-money, clean and comfortable even though the room is small. Easy access with a few subway station nearby. I found it a little bit confusing with more than 1 subway/train/metro station in the vicinity with the same name 'Asakusa' but with different lines running through. The closest is the Asakusa Tsukuba Express Line station which is just around the corner from the hotel. The Sensoji-Temple is just behind the hotel and is a must-see. The shopping street leading the the temple is lined with souvenir shops and little food stalls selling cute Japanese baked goods and ice-cream. Some nice restaurants and bars nearby (opposite and behind the hotel). Kitchen town is also within walking distance. There are a few 24-hour eateries and supermarkets nearby as well. Wifi in the room works well. The ionizer and trouser press is a bonus. Comfy bed, only thing is the wardrobe is tiny, so not much space for hanging clothes. Loved the super-duper WC with heated seat and built-in bidet! Great quality toiletries provided, full sized shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and even a bottle of Shiseido Face Wash which was a really nice touch! Although a little far from the action in Shibuya and Shinjuku, the location is still a good base for exploring Tokyo. Would stay here again if I'm in Tokyo.

Lovely hotel and great location”

Great facilities in room, air-purifier, LCD TV, very confort room

Strategic location which you can walk 10mins to G18 (Tawaramachi) or 5mins to the Japan Railway station. You can take the metro to Ueda for the shopping distreet or visit the Panda at Ueda Zoo. This hotel nearby the Asakusa temple and shopping distreet about 5-10mins walk. There are many delicious restaurant there. Hotel opposite got very nice Ramen even open at midnight. Make sure you shop the 7-11 and try out the Japan dessert. I would say this hotel provided value of price but you get 4 stars service and facilities in the room, highly recommended! I would definately stay again in this hotel.

It's easy to access to Asakusa Station (Tsukuba Express line)and surrending sightseeing points of Asakusa, such as Senso-Ji Temple. The hotel and room are clean, and staffs are helpful and polite. The room is kinda small, but I believe it's normal in Japan, especially in Tokyo.

Pro: the facilities were very good location is very near to multiple halal resraurant as im a muslim. There is a laundry dry room that you can ise for free. Cons: the nearest train station to and from airport doesn't have any escalator and elevator. But you can take limousine bus to asakusa view hotel instead. It is just opposite this hotel.

Small room but good location”

Location, access, free laundry

The hotel is located at Asakusa, accessible by underground train Tsukuba Express. Although not close to Yamanote Line, which would be additional advantage for those who have Japan Rail Pass, the Tsukuba Express line serves route between Akihabara on Yamanote to this hotel. Once you alight at Asakusa, take the Asakusa Shrine exit, and walk toward north on main road. The hotel is located ACROSS Asakusa View Hotel. The room is SMALL yet good enough for 2 people. The bathroom is even smaller than we had thought, so it might be quite uncomfortable for some people. Despite that, both room and bathroom are well equipped. The staffs do speak limited English, so it'd be useful if you have translator application on your smartphone. The hotel itself located in good area as it's close to Asakusa Shrine yet with relatively quiet surrounding. Many local restaurants and shops are available within 5 minutes walk. Beware with the drying machine though. We used their laundry and it took more than 4 hours to dry our clothes. Apparently they have old drying machines. The good thing, the staff helped us to have it dried.

Asakusa”

Prime Location, Good staff Performance and Clean room

Asakusa is a great area to stay in which I would definitely recommend: it's local, quaint and quiet with lots of eateries around. The hotel is perfectly location in the heart of Asakusa and a short walk from the metro. Room (small double with private bath): a bit tight but clean, fresh and nicely decorated and has all that is necessary (phone and ipad chargers, teapot, fridge, hair dryer). WiFi quality was excellent

Very pleasant stay”

Keihan is a good choice in Japan. Supermarket is right opposite to the hotel and many food stalls nearby. Within 10 mins walking distance to metro station which is acceptable.

Good value for money, in a more chilled area of Tokyo ”

Staff were friendly, room really clean and my daughter, whose 9, and I, really liked the area. The people were really friendly around Asakusa, and it was a nice change of pace compared to Shiybu etc - highly recommend as at first it seemed like it be far away from everything but it's not and it's an area that has lots to do itself.
