Beautiful hotel!”
The doormen, vallet staff, bellhops, desk staff and cleaning staff were all wonderful and represented this hotel very well. Our room was beautiful and it was on the 14th floor which is actually the 13th floor. My husband was turning pages in a book in a gift shop and found out our hotel is supposedly haunted! Specifically the 14th (13th) floor. We slept fine in Room 1457 across from the also haunted elevator and had no disturbances to report, but wow! They have actually had their Paranormal disturbances investigated! The bar had a spinning carousel too which was super unique and fun. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool too. The hotel is clean too. Parking is paid for separately. This hotel is a block off of Burbon St. but it was still quiet. We could walk to anywhere in the French Quarter but we could also walk 2 blocks to a Streetcar station to go to Audubon Park, Zoo, Tulane, the Garden District and Magazine Street.

From the moment we drove up to the moment we checked out- no lines no waiting but the most important part- EVERYONE was SO friendly and so very helpful! You can tell they all love what they do! I only wished that the maid service was fully working. We like a clean made bed daily especially for the price we paid for such a special trip- My Birthday! Geaux Saints! WHO DAT! Btw Ms. Primo and the band, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Haven’t danced that much in a while! Btw get there early for the Carousel Bar! We did and finally got two seats! Don’t miss the rooftop pool! Bartender there very friendly and informative! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LOVE THIS HOTEL IN THE HEART OF THE FRENCH QUARTER”
I really love Monteleone, it's beautiful, in the heart of it all. The staff is wonderful, I wish I could take them home. They have a variety of employees of all ages, and each one of them gives you such a nice impression. You feel at home staying here. If you're tired of being out and about in New Orleans, and you'd like to be close to your room and listen to some good jazz music, this is the place. If you'd like to go for a splash in the morning in a beautiful elegiant pool, this is the place. I highly recommend staying here. Our favorite is breakfast. There are many places you can dine at in New Orleans, but breakfast is so good here, we wouldn't waste our time waiting in lines to eat somewhere else. I can't wait to return. On top of the luxury amenities the hotel carries, we love our room, beds are comfortable, robes are provided, coffee, tea, good quality pieces in the room. The decor in the room is so nice, tall ceilings, we've stayed in different size rooms. All rooms are nice!

We had a lovely stay. We came here for my thirty birthday and the staff were very accommodating, they made my birthday very special. I highly recommend it for anyone coming to New Orleans for the first time. It’s in a prime location and easily walkable to most tourist locations

Hotel Monteleone - Fabulous Stay”
The staff was professional and courteous. They are so many added conveniences of being here: the heated pool, the penthouse-level gym, the check (luggage) room for late or early flights or departures, live music at the Carousel Bar on Saturdays, the glorious restaurant downstairs, and more. Their restaurant, Criollo, legitimately has my vote for best beignets in the entire city. After staying 8 days and trying out at least 2 restaurants a day, they're still the best). Hotel Monteleone is one of the few hotels I'd recommend to my own family and friends. They'll take good care of you and it'll start to feel like home.

Amazing Stay”
Beautiful hotel, Great Staff! Everyone from the doormen, front desk, concierge to the housekeepers were welcoming, professional and eager to help! Adam always had a helpful suggestion,Christopher even walked us to the location for a late night snack!Nolan kindly stored our luggage and the front desk allowed us a late check out without adding an additional fee. Don’t forget to visit the iconic Carousel Bar…the bartenders and cocktails were fabulous. We met so many wonderful people who worked at Hotel Monteleone… I don’t remember all of their names… but again everyone was exceptional.

Charming Hotel”
The Monteleone is a family-owned hotel that combines modern conveniences with old hotel charm. The lobby has a beautiful grandfather clock and chandeliers. The famous Carousel Bar, which rotates and was frequently by the likes of Tennessee Williams and William Faulkner, is located just to the right after you enter the front door. The drinks aren’t cheap, but a seat at the bar is an experience. There is a roof-top pool for those who are interested. The rooms are not very large but are well-appointed. The location on Royal Street in the French Quarter, one block from Bourbon Street, cannot be beat.

Amazing Stay”
We were in New Orleans back in February and thought we’d save more money if we stayed outside the French Quarter. We did not! Staying at hotel Monteleone we ended up saving so much more money because we were in walking distance of everything. The staff was beyond amazing. They were friendly and knew the area to give us recommendations. They have a rooftop pool and a bar by the poolside! The rooms were spacious and came equipped with your essentials! This hotel definitely pays attention to detail.

I loved my stay at the Hotel Monteleone! The staff was very personable, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was clean and inviting. My room had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River, and was clean and cozy. The rooftop pool was very clean and refreshing to cool off in between morning and evening activities, and the poolside bar was very accommodating. We were a very short walk from Bourbon Street, Canal Street, and Decatur. Plentiful local restaurants, art galleries, and a variety of shops provided lots of culture, music, delicious food, and entertainment all around. We happened to be here while the hotel hosted a wedding, and enjoyed the pleasure of seeing an authentic New Orleans wedding procession/celebration right on Royal Street. I highly recommend this hotel and the experience it provides.

Perfect stay”
Everything was perfect with wonderful service. This is a first class hotel. The bathrooms are a little small but adequate. Most older hotels will have smaller bathrooms. Comfy beds, clean rooms and bath and plenty of extras. I would not stay anywhere else!

My fiancé and I stayed at Hotel Monteleone for a romantic weekend and we were so happy with our choice. The actual hotel is gorgeous and historic, the staff was so helpful and kind, the Carousel Bar had ambiance and delicious drinks and bar food. Before checking out we had brunch at the restaurant, Criollo, and we’re once again pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back!
