Satisfied with the room, location, and service!”
Located about 5-10 minutes walk from Ginza Station, it is in the best location where you can reach any famous tourist spot within 30 minutes. I went with my mother and booked a room with two single beds, and the room itself was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel (although the price was accordingly expensive). However, the bedding is changed only once every two days, and only upon request for daily change. I didn't have breakfast, so I'm not sure about that, but it's located in the center of Ginza, so it's perfect for shopping during the day and going to see the night view at a tourist spot in the evening. Overall, it was a satisfying stay!

Perfect classic little hotel”
Everything was perfect, just right. Only thing: we were told that we needed to have our breakfast in the sister hotel which was just over the corner. But anyway, the breakfast was also great.

We reserved 1 single room and 1 twin room for 2 nights. The experience was great, price reasonable. Breakfast was also super, although we needed to go the Hotel Monterey next door.

Other large buildings mean there's no view on one side. Rooms are Japanese small. But it's quiet, clean, incredibly great location. Staff is professional and positive.

Prime location; Very nice staff”
Close to train stations (walkable distance with big luggage); very nice staff to give us direction to certain shops/places; the room is small but we could still manage to open two big suitcases in the room. We will consider this hotel if we travel to Tokyo again

Charming and convenient hotel”
We had a wonderful time in Tokyo. We were happy with our choice of hotel. Monterey La Soeur is very charming hotel, the lobby, corridor and lift are very well designed and decorated. The room is rather small if compared to hotel in Bangkok or Indonesia or Canada but it is quite acceptable for the place like Tokyo or New York, Geneva. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere, staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and well equiped. The bathroom is clean, bath tub is good. The hotel is located right in Ginza, the most busy place in Tokyo but there is no noise once you are in your room. We will stay this hotel if we come back to Tokyo next time.

Excellent find in Ginza”
Hotel Monterey La Soeur Ginza is value for money considering its excellent location. Ginza itchome subway station is merely 2 minutes away, Yurakucho JR station is 10 minutes away and Haneda airport is merely 30 minutes away by train/monorail. If you intend to live it up, Ginza's main shopping street Chuo-dori is just 2 streets away and there are plenty of high-end and mid-range restaurants around the hotel. The hotel itself is home to a really classy French restaurant which is filled with well-heeled foreigners and Japanese alike during meal times. It's a pity I didn't get to try the restaurant. But I'd definitely stay at the hotel when I'm next back in Tokyo

Very good customer service”
I booked this hotel because i liked the Hotel Monterey Kyoto. I booked two rooms at Hotel Monterey La Souer Ginza expecting that an additional bed can be accommodated per room. When we arrived, the hotel staff informed me that an additional bed wouldn't fit in the room so I asked for an extra room. She told me that they were fully booked. She made a call after which she informed me that two rooms are available in Hotel Monterey Ginza and an extra bed can be accommodated in the rooms. I truly appreciate this accommodation!

My Stay at Monterey La Soeur ,Ginza , Tokyo”
I loved my short but great stay at La Soeur Monterrey. The location of our hotel is good.The roomrate was affordable Even though the room is accomodatingly small but you dont really need much since you just need a place to crash for the day.Location is good.Within walking distance from the nearest malls & convenience shop.For transportaton, take may advise, grab the subway map from the hotel staff and go around Tokyo using their trains.Dont forget to purchase the 1DAY or 2DAYS Unlimited Subway Tickets from your hotel staff..It's cost saving!..plus you get to experience the busy Japan during peak & off-peak hours.

Better than expected”
Given previous reviews, we were slightly apprehensive about coming to this hotel, but booked following a recommendation from a friend who lives in Tokyo. We were not disappointed … it was much better than we expected. Top tip …. Book a twin room … it gives you that extra space - even with a small wardrobe! Located within easy walking distance to Ginza & Ginza Itchome Metro stations it is also conveniently located within the safe, upmarket shopping area that is Ginza. The staff at Reception speak reasonable English and will help you to use their safe to store your valuables and arrange delivery of ice to your room. (There is no room service, ice machine or coin operated laundry service within the hotel.) Also ask Reception to unlock your bedroom windows if you want some fresh air. The rooms are decorated to a “Parisian Style” and the beds are comfortable within a very clean room. Adequate bathroom within which is a small bath, strong hot shower – fresh towels every day plus a range of essential toiletries provided. In room tea & coffee making facilities. Wi-fi was free and always a good signal. Downside was that the cost did not include breakfast and the price offered on arrival (JPY2100 each) was so high it was prohibitive. We made use of the in room fridge to store our own locally bought drinks & snacks & found a good breakfast locally for half the price. Note the bottle water they put in the fridge is not free. For the price we were happy with the room & service they delivered
