Good location near Hakodate train station”
The room is spacious compared to the typical Japanese hotel room. The tatami area was a great dining place which can be converted into a sleeping place for 2 persons. Pity the toilet was small.

I chose this hotel based on price and location. It was only $40 for the night including breakfast and was in a great location in front of the train station. However, I made the mistake of choosing a smoking room and it reeked of smoke. The staff was unable to change my room because the hotel only had smoking rooms left. They kindly offered me an air filter but it didn't help much. Usually I enjoy relaxing in the hotel but I couldn't wait to leave. Breakfast was a freshly prepared salmon bento. You may choose from about a dozen different choices for breakfast. It was okay for the price but I would probably pay a few dollars extra and stay someplace else.

The room is big but the bathroom is very very tiny and old. No cleaning during our 4nights stay and no new towel given. The location is great. No water,no coffee, no cutery.

Centrally located and great view of the station area from window. The bathroom is a bit old and could be cleaner. Not the best value for what it is.

This is not a hotel, more like a hostel ”
No house keeping for staying 3 nights and Need to throw our own rubbish. The pyjamas provided was stained and the toilet has a very bad smell. The whole hotel is very old. You will see many old equipment inside the room

Superb Location but dated facilities”
The location is very good, right in front of the JR Station., a stone's throw away from a convenient mart, Redbrick Warehouse, the Morning Market, the tram station that brought us to the Mount Hakodate Ropeway Station, Goryokaku Fort ...... However, the hotel itself is rather dated though I read that it had a recent renovation. The room is small, rather squeezy for 3 of us. If location is your priority, this will be a good choice.
