Roof top onsen!”

The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation at the entrance. Therefore the appearance didn't really appeal. But the hotel room was spacious despite staying at single room for 2 persons. The roof top onsen was the most enjoyable one. I have my own private time for nearly 30mins without interruption by anyone. You have you own private onsen by yourself. The breakfast was the same for all guests but it was delicious and rich. Recommend to stay here if you plan your trip to dazaifu and yanagawa as you need to travel by nishitetsu train.You can buy the travel package at this train station and the staff can speak better English compared with the one at Tenjin station. It is one station away from Tenjin and the fare is only 130yen compared with 210yen with subway.

Only few step away from yakuin station. Since its facility near train station, every time the train pass by, it would create alot of noise that little bit disturbing. I like the massage bed.

Great value and service. ”

Thank you to Miss Aika and her staff for their cheerful service during my stay. Yakuin stn is one stop away from Tenjin stn on the Nishitetsu Line making it very convenient. Hotel operated coin laundry w auto detergent and driers. Short taxi ride to Nakasu area. Average sized Japanese rooms but very clean and well appointed. Supermarket and small restaurants just 5 minute walk away. I will surely they with them again when in Fukuoka. Scott

Great hotel! Stay there”

Top floor public bath is awesome to relax. Plus, there is no staff up there so I had no problem w my tattoo like I do at other places. Room was bigger than expected. Bed was firm and comfortable. Great hotel for the price. Easily as good as hotel I stayed at in Tokyo which was more than twice the price.

Noisy train traffic, far for tourist”

I would suggest staying here if you're here for business or have friends living close by. Otherwise go elsewhere. I would say that this place looks great on the outside, but interior has alot to improve. The room is filled with thick stench, likely unwashed carpets, walls are also filled up with smoke smell that makes sleeping hard for non-smokers and smokers. This is more like a motel, than hotel.
