The staff of Hotel are nice and very helpful. The rooms are tidy and clean. However, only one key for each room is not convenience since we must wait the roommates to open the door when one of them go outsides.

Excellent hotel in Fukuoka ”

We were so happy with our stay at the New Otani Hakata. The staff was warm and helpful, and my children were delighted by the bags of goodies they received at check-in. Our room was just big enough for the three beds, but it had everything we needed including a small refrigerator and electric kettle. The location was excellent for getting around on public transportation. I can’t imagine having a more pleasant stay in Fukuoka.

2018 Birthday Trip to Japan”

4th-5th night staying at New Otani Fukuoka, very near to subway, bus stop and airport! Chained brand hotel with good standard. The room looks like the same as New Otani Osaka and the size of the room is big! Did a lot of shopping at Tenjin. Happy birthday to me, see you (Japan) next year!

Excellent services though a little pricy”

This is my first time staying in Hotel New Otani. First impressed by two staff personnels attending us to the room, carrying our baggages, and explaining this and that. Room can suitably accommodate our group (3 people). Very quiet and we slept very well. But, the lightning control in the room is outdated and needs upgrading. Restroom was ok and filled with amenities (though quite old). Superb location - near Sunny supermarket, two small markets, several combinis, and yayoiken. English programs on the TV. Didn't try breakfast buffet (2900 JPY each). Quick elevator. Check out at 12:00. Taxi was always available. The staff helped me booked English-speaking taxi for sightseeing. This last point, though, I couldn't help feeling annoyed that the price I was told to pay (in English) did not exactly match the price he mentioned to the driver (in Japanese). Will come back if I get a good deal.

Good hotel choice in Fukuoka”

We made a good choice staying in Hotel New Otani Hakata. The room is spacious enough for 3 adults, a kid, and 2 big luggages. Easy to go places with subway and bus stops just infront of the hotel. Staff is also very helpful.

Great hotel to explore Fukuoka”

Location was a perfect base to explore Fukuoka. Tenjin and Hakata easily accessible, as well as other areas. Many places to eat and shop close by. The rooms may be a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome!

High quality hotel”

Great staff! The parking is a little tricky to understand but the staff had good english speaking skills and explained the parking to me very well. The expense of the parking is very reasonable and much better than street parking. The location is a little too south for walking to Hakata, Nakasu, or Tenjin in cold weather. The room and the included perks are amazing. One of the best I have experienced in Japan. Even the smoking rooms do not smell like cigarettes. Very impressive. Will definitely stay again if budget allows.
