The hotel is very beautiful and located at great location. We got to stay at one of the beautiful room and it was so nice. We are surprised and disappointed that there was no mini fridge and kettle. Troublesome to go and get the hot water at the lobby when needed. Hair dryer can be improved too.

Nice location ”
The location of the hotel is nice, really convenient to a lot of metro stations, restaurants and even shopping districts. However, the room was dark even with all lights switched on, and the blanket has a musty smell hidden in a closet.

A cosy hotel with great front desk staff and services. We asked for a change in room as it was on the first floor and very noisy due to proximity to a restaurant downstairs. No question asked!

close to everything”
Very close to Las Ramblas and close, quaint hotel with a great balcony with a table and chairs. Standard room with 3 twin beds, a closet and bathroom. The taxi did take us to the hotel, but it is a walking small street, so we just got lucky, so be prepared to roll your luggage (but it's not far) from Las Ramblas. You are steps away from the main strip (Las Ramblas) with everything within walking distance. Clean, nice place before a cruise. I would recommend it. I don't think there is a tv, but who needs it for a short stay. Staff very friendly.

Good location, value for money”
the hotel located on a street next to La Rambla and walking distance to Plaza Catalunya, which means the location is the best for traveller. It is walking distance from Aerobus bus stop hence make the travelling journey to airport is easy and quick. With the price that they charged, it is value for money in this location. However, the downside is the hotel charge euro 1.50 per night for the usage of the safety bos in the room, requires a deposit to put in place if we required the TV remote control- 1st time in my life to hear a hotel requires a deposit for a TV remote control. There is no free WIFI facilities in the room and they charge internet based on minute that u access to the internet. I thought WIFI is a basic facilities that a hotel has to offered? at least in the hotel lobby area.

Hotel Nouvel is in a strategic location. La Ramblas is beside it & so is Plaza Catalunya. It is so easy to get to from the airport. You just need to get to the airport shuttle & get off at Plaza Catalunya & then walk to the hotel - hardly 5 minutes. The vibrant nightlife in the area is another plus point. The shops are open till late & the gothic quarter is another attracttion. There are lots of restaurants serving good food & the sangria served in most restaurants in the area is absolutely fabulous. Great location for public transportation use”
Great location as a base to explore Barcelona from. Situated in a street corner of the Ramblas, making retreats to room after a long day a good wind down, yet still being close to the charms of Barcelona. Location perfect for easy access to Metros, car rentals, airport bus, Carrefour, shopping, sights - all within 5-15mins walk away. As for the hotel itself, a good comfortable stay. Rooms & beds are small as typical European style, but still sufficient space for 2 big luggages. The bathroom is really pleasant; clean brown marble furnishing with separate shower stall, keeping the sink and toilet area dry always. The frosted glass wall separating the bathroom from room itself is really stylish. Few inconveniences: no mini bar (for keeping yoghurt and fruits), small fee for in-room safe use, deposit for tv remote and chargeable WiFi use ($2euro/hr). Tip: For traveling in Metro/bus, use T-10 tickets. This ticket is sharable (for 2 person use - scan ticket twice on metro/bus entry) and cuts the cost by half. Cost $9.80euro for 10 trips vs $2euro for single tickets. Super convenient and economical for traveling around the city.

Nouvel is a hotel, conveniently located in a sidestreet of the Ramblas, parallel to Placa de Catalunya. very close to aan entrance of the Metro at Placa de Catalunya. conveniently at the edge of barri gotic with its many shops, so you can shop n drop your stuff at the hotel and continue shopping. via placa catalunya you can access the entiry city via various modes of transport. accross the entrance of the hotel there is a pattisserie called "el mos' which has great sandwiches and good coffee. further there are many restaurants at walking distance. so is the market La Bocqueria and supermarkets (Carrefour and El Corte Ingles). the room we stayed in was spacious and had a good bathroom. unfortnuately not a proper window to open (behind the window there was an elevator...) though the hotel is not really sound-proof, all together a good choice for anyone that can appreciate it's ambiance and the convenience of its location.

Take aerobus from airport to plaza catalunya for euro 5.90 only.. The hotel is near the Plaza. Near the Gothic Quarters n Las Ramblas. There is free storage available. We left our big luggages when we went to Portugal for 4 days. Elevator available. We defintely come back.

The hotel is so close to La Ramblas & Plaza Catalunya. The rooms are comfortable though the view from the room is nothing to shout about. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They can advise you on practically anything - from where to get Chinese food, electronic gadgets and the list goes on. The breakfast is quite pricey and is not that spectacular. However, there are loads of restaurants and cafes nearby & they open very early.

Ideal hotel in old city centre”
A lot of people left bad reviews saying this hotel was too noisy and too small. This is a very old hotel in the historic centre of a very vibrant Spanish city. If you want big rooms and silence, go book a modern hotel out by the ring-road! If you want a old stylish hotel in typical narrow streets, lovely rooms and an awesome shower, you won't be disappointed here.

the hotel is in great location, staff is willing to help and facilities are very clean i really recommend it on the down side - walls are thin so you can hear next room noises, and there is another building right in front of this hotel, so if you open the window you are very close to the neighbours from the other side
