I'm an avid solo traveler and have been to many hostels, hotels, and experienced other accommodations around the world and this experience might be one of the worst for the price. There were endless flying ants in my room that I would kill and they would keep coming back. I must have killed at least 100, smacking them on the walls, but they just continued to swarm the room each night. During my last night there, one of the other guests decided to play their massive speaker straight into the garden off their patio. I'm all for a party and having fun but this incredibly loud music lasted until 2-3am. It was wildly disrespectful and not a single staff member told them to be more considerate of others while sleeping. I actually ended up going to another resort during my time in Honduras and was glad that I didn't bank on staying there the whole time.

Nice place, nice location. We did not have AC and were in an apartment. The only downside was the kitchen table was on the front porch which meant we had to deal with mosquitos. Ask them for an extra fan for the kitchen table to help keep the mosquitos away. Wind more than 3 miles an hour keeps moquitos from landing.

The posada’s beach just in front of it offers reclining chairs, palm trees and a nice view over the bay. Kayaks can be borrowed for free. Rooms are nice with a little terrace with table, chairs and hammock.
